(edit: allso is there any possibility of making some textures double the resolution some day? because when i run 1920x1080 resolution they start to look a bit blured like running lfs at 1280x1024 with the origonal ones hehe

thats a good idea, cause then you could do ur best new lap and they could do exactly same thing, then you have some one exactly same level of skill to follow and learn where your mistakes are

Okay, i know some of you will Pfer the V sounds to the W patch sounds.

I must say, The new sounds are verry more realistic verry good job, with the gear whines etc,

but the sound when you take the accelerator off theres a second of verry loud sound which i disliked,..
and im not sure if thats what its supposed to sound like in a real touring/supercar etc because iv never been in one.

The V ones i found was alot more calmer and ear friendly if your doing alot of racing none stop.
But the W ones are great for realism when you feel like it tho good work on the W ones

anyway iv Rar'd the Eng files of the old sounds for you

had to use 2 Rar's cause of the 1.95mb limit

Hello there!

Now, i started making a "Banger" oval.. but it turns out that because of the last corner the apex is a pretty fun corner.. (well i think so) to try get good lap times, its not just a perfect oval shape

when you see the first screenshot i know what you think.. oh no its just a oval... but give it a shot

and i test drove it in a XRR and it felt perfect for the track.

Challenge:

ill set a challenge of beating my lap time.
i got a 14.55 with XRR but i only had about 10 mins to play around on it.
if you get better than a 14.5 please post a screenshot

The key features of the oval:

1, the starting streight is a nice sprint to the first corner. (picture united-4)
2, the track is nice and wide so its a good track for overtaking with no colisions if you choose to Race,
3, the shape of the un-eaven corner, i dont know where i got the idea but i like it (picture united-1, 4 and 3)
4, its challenging if you try to get good lap times

and one last thing, i advise you Dont change down gears too quick without braking in GTR's.. as i did and nearly rolled my car with full anti roll bars

High res XR carbon Interior.:


okay, i was just thinking well i hate the XR interiour so id edit it..
then i thaught, well ill add some carbon, might make it look good.
then the next thing i knew i had the whole interior as carbon lol...

iv NOT designed this for its features like the seats etc. its just ALL carbon.

so please dont say, ew those seats look ugly, cause there isnt any

oh, and allso iv made some circular rear lights.. should catch the attention of alot of attention..

and erm, yeh, the Indicators are from another skin.. and so is the radio.. so dont credit me for them....


iv taken the liberity of taking some screenshots too,

Plus, iv made a 2048x2048 sheet of carbon fibre for you skinner/texture makers who dont know how to make it

(you cant really see it in the screenshots because of the lower'd quality so that it doesnt take you long to download them. but the Whole car is actually carbon on the inside)

iv left a space below the radio so you can add a dvd screen or anything you want, if you choose to edit this and if you do edit it, remember who made it yes, ..


place the three DDS files in your data/DSS folder

ok iv added carbon seats now for all cars. momo carbon seats that is (i just made them up obviously, doubt theres such thing) and

iv allso added fully seathrough windows (still reflective) for people who dont want the "tinted" window effects cause not every ones a "pimp?"

btw sorry if some one else has releised the same windows, i didnt check first...

and erm, well yeh carbon madness

if people "Like?" the carbon effect i might make the carbon effect for inside all of the cars...

The DDS files are on my next Post aswell, couldnt fit them all on one
