Big improovement suggestion:

Use a different server, one thats etleast half decent so you dont get launched 200 feet when rubbing another car, and for the noobs who are sitting on track to be spectated.

And if them two cant be done then you might aswell not bother with the event because the 250 was quite frankly a shambles where lag and brainless drivers.

140 laps is nothing at all. the teams idea to have teams on track to swap drivers etc is fairly rediculess, but if they want to waste time swapping drivers and go even slow then so be it, easyer to win

you can run 47.7's drafting, but on your own a good average is about 48.15 or below 48.20's thats what i run consistently without draft, and my best is 47.99 befor the new patch hotlapping that is, my best since the new patch is a 48.05ish but hotlapping only got a 48.09

The LX8 was a V8 right?

Then +1 from me anyway, as lfs needs more V's and Flat engines rather than the Inline engine, but +1 anyway to more cars, the more the merryer

+1 to this weight idea thingy, because i personally never use FWD cars on lfs unless in the UFR/XFR class, but if the FWD's are a bit more interesting/realistic weight then it might become as fun as a RWD

If you drive behind another car then you will understeer, but different cars are effected differently, throughout most long easy corners the fox/fbm etc wont understeer as much as the bf1 will because they arent traveling as fast, but there are alot of corners where you can feel the effects in all cars when driving close to the rear of another car.

But if you want a good example of what i mean try driving behind some one in the BF1 on pretty much any track and you will not make the corner as easy and some times not make the corner at all

Quote from MAGGOT :

Has anyone tried to put those dds files into folders within the dds folder? Does it still read the dds files, or can the game no longer 'find' them? I think I'm going to give it a shot myself after I get some food.

Dont think it would work but it could easily be added to lfs to read them from folders if the idea was to be carryed out

Not because of Drifting", but in general i think the rev limiter should be higherd as real cars can redline a fair bit befor the limiter kicks in, and when the limiter does kick in it doesnt just stay at the limited rpm, the rpms jerk up and down.

so +1
DDS Files per track, and FPS & Clock on screen

Hello there.

Okay idea one, The DDS folder which has all the .dds files in, i think inside the folder there should be a folder for every track like a south city folder with every south city related DDS in, and a folder for blackwood and a folder for car interiors etc, it would make life a tad easyer when people "Remake" tracks textures etc, you would just drag the new folder in place

Okay two, (this ones small) but in opitions in misc, you can have ether a Clock or FPS counter in the top screen. Personally i think you should be able to have both, fps at one side and the clock at the other, or both next to each other if you wanted, just like you can choose where to have the fps counter to the left or right.

Thank you for reading

My oppinion:

The new bl isnt bad but its no better than it was, if not a bit worse in terms of people braking too late at the end of the streight and taking you out because its tighter.

But i think there should be more combos/circuts rather than changing somthing wich had no problems with it in the first place, if its not broken dont fix it.
Alltho the curbs in the chicane was broke, and the fixes are great, but the turn at the end of the streight was not broke so it didnt need changing.

my oppinion ^

btw as iv posted in the interface thread, from x33 to x35 it made speedos look squished etc which every one knows, but then the patch after squashed it even more even tho it said it was changed in the changelog :S
