Any source on this info? If u have a decent pc and run it with vsync, it shouldent be any problem. Maybe if u have lag with the graphics, then its not vsyncs fault, its just crap machine's fault

Nice summary, now we only need a nice "addon manager" that handles it all and can revert all changes and so on.


I remember a manager for a flight simulator, that kept track of every addon you installed and so on.

Nice mod, but why are'nt you doing the complete package? h-shifter stiffnes, more resistance to pedals and such stuff?

Congratz to making the WR, but as long it aint a clean WR i really don't care. Hopefully WR's are not possible in the future with this kind of hotlapping.

For pulling this of, you would need a new site. Maybe a subdomain at lfs like f1.lfs.net

And build a manager site for the teams, so that everyone has a team place. Then "sell" the spots for the teams. little fee ofcourse just for the symbolism of acting proffesional and so on.


Once when the teams are up and running, and all teams have filled their drivers positions, after tests and lap times hunting, and qualifications ofcourse. Then the fun could begin.

Im thinking just medium sized country flags centered in the screen with nr1 a bit higher then the other twos for the top 3, and the other players names in a list under it.

I was asking about this earlier, cause i only have 2 screens right now and they arent the same size, so it would be nice to have it as heli view och mirror view. But as heli view, i would regard it almost as cheating. well, not really cheating. But you really shouldent have it like that as with heliview. It gives an advantage that can be the edge over many others.

Thank god that simple doesnt mean lousy. As long as it works decent and do what's intend to do we're not worried Scawen.

Is these kind of money really an issue? I pay more for just eating lunch out every now and then.

If the computer can handle it and you like the highres the 3 bucks extra now and then is total worth it.

I'm afraid if I do try, I will not go back. I can afford the price tag. But I'm not sure if I wanna find myself in a position where i abandon LFS. I just wan't to know if there is a future in iracing or in LFS, well, LFS allways have a somewhat vague future but we all hope for the best.

But maybe iracing is the sim to go with. I would rather spend more money on LFS, but Scawen wont let me put more money into his pocket except donations, I would go on with donations if just Scawen could get more in contact with the community. Like explaining more on what he does for the moment, show a screenshot and so on. Get in contact with community sort of speak.

I would gladly pay 10 pounds or more for every update. Like 2 stable updates per year and maybe a patch (free ofcourse) here and there for the updates.


But right now, im really tempted to go and try iracing, but I'm not sure yet over how they are handling online servers and just jump into a car and just race some here and there.

It's a complete system, that includes very accurate tracks and the outfield too for braking points.

If you want to give it a go, you can get a 1 month free trial or I think there are other deals around too that are 3 months for a very cheap price too.

Once LFS brings in some laser scanned tracks (!), it will certainly improve LFS a lot, but laser scanning really does make a huge difference to the feel.

Is this sim better then LFS? What good is a sim if it is the best in simulation but you got a better over all package in another sim like iracing.

LFS is like, hook up online and do some races and so on. If you go to iracing, don't you do more leagues and so on? I get the feeling that this is more incorporated then LFS.

So, read a few pages in here.

Whats the verdict? I don't mind spending the cash it will cost, but im not so keen on oval tracks. I wan't fun racing and so on.


Is this worth the money? Does it has any advantages over lfs except tracks and cars being actual?
