i wanted wifi tethering, i tried the app that seemed to work very well, and no dice even after root, and verifying root with super SU, and root checker.
i read up that it may be because of the factory ROM shutting out non-stock tethering apps which leads me to now needing to flash a new ROM.
before i flash a new ROM i need to know what i need to backup, how i can do that, and what else needs to be done in order to do it safely and properly.

im pretty sure i have asked here before, but now im serious and willing to do whatever to make it better.
is there something to tell me what i really just did, and how to use it to its fullest? i understand i have access to the root files on the phone, but im not sure what that really means.

how we are is instead of the occasional night out, we try to do something small frequently...it adds up, but its much funner!

apex launcher is the best i have found, it seemed to do what i needed, and have the compatibility i wanted. they are all very similar imo though.

taught her how to drive my car (manual), then she moved onto driving the dirtbike (manual), and then she got a treat (polaris predator 500)...shes a quick learner, and she fell once in a VERY understandable way (10 cm deep grooves in the road going the direction of the road on the dirtbike)

im not sure if you are old enough for a real car, but i used to be an lfs junkie also...
got a car, joined the appropiate forum, found the cheap but worthwhile things you can do to it. worked on it day in and day out. got a job, paid for more expensive things, drove to all my friends houses more often, made more friends, designated drove everywhere every time without fail, and got even more friends, and everyone loves my recently fixed up car!
now i dont have time for lfs.

texting the past two weeks ALOT, last week even more so due to vacation (every day here guys...im talking alot). i asked her last week if i text too much and she said no.
last night she fell asleep texting me, which usually results in it pickup up where it left off in the morning; this morning nothing. this is maybe 2 texts each way after she said she likes me...do i text her? do i give a day's space?

her family consists of her, her two sisters, her dad, and her mom. her mom owns a salon.
everyone was out except her and her sister...the neighbor broke in, and started going through their stuff...911 was called, and as 6 or so cops were on the lawn the dad comes home....no proof so no warrant.
the dad knocks on the door with a baseball bat, and he says "your going to be gone by tomorrow night, or im going to come in there... you have 24 hours to leave."
he was gone that night.
her mom's client said she would pay later, never did. he went to where her husband worked, calmly said the money will be in the mailbox by 10, and it was there.
thats who i am dealing with if i get caught sneaking in. i am going to prevent crossing him at ANY cost.
we have planned this a few times but have either chickened out, fallen asleep, or the stakes were too high that night. so we knew exactly what was happening. the wd-40 was in my room so i grabbed it.
in other news, tonight during a movie i whispered in her ear that i liked her....couldnt hear her response cause we were among her sisters whispering :banghead:

dancing there = grinding 100% of the time, which is why im playing bodyguard by the way.
my friend, the single one (who i also fancy :hide had a guy start dancing with her, and i hesitated because im not sure if she cares because she is single...i ask her if she wants me to tell him she is taken and she said yes..so i played bf yet again.
shortly after i ended up telling him she's taken, her sister tells me to dance with her to "make sure no other guys try."
not wanting to be that friend that starts creepily grinding with her, i just stand there, and her sister yells out she wants to dance with me, so i just go with it..ends in the next hour and a half of us inseparable.
by the end, we are pretty much holding hands walking through....90% sure il have a gf within the next few days

i was no older than 3 months old at the time i made this thread guys, cut me some slack
ok, let me try to remember what works in this game...
get a race default setup, make sure it is the stiffest one there. (make sure it is default, so i know you are dealing with a somewhat well thought out setup)
go into suspension, take the rear spring stiffness, and increase it a little, and do the same to the front. this is to minimize the weight flopping around during weight transfer/bumps etc. make sure they are not rock solid, this will make for an uncontrollable setup. drop the car, make sure it has some motion, and doesnt bounce.
adjust the dampening so it comes to rest just as it appears like it should (cant explain this well)
take the rebound dampening, and make it a little higher than the dampening (if you did the dampening right, it should be sensible) drop the car, make sure it looks good.
take the front sway bar, make it somewhat low; take the rear, make it a little higher.
i noticed the higher the sway bar, the more likely it is to slip; instead of the weight transfering for the tires to pick up grip, the weight forces the end to slip.
rebound dampening does the same; as the inside wheel wants to lift up, it is being restricted forcing to weight to want to push it.
lower the car so when you drop it, it nearly bottoms out, but not too low or you will run into problems....lowers the center of gravity.
now go into wherever the camber adjustment is...this should be negative 2ish for the front, and -1.5ish for the rear....i think....(cant remember right now)
go into drivetrain, differential, i forget...but make sure you have a clutch lsd, and make sure it locks something like 65-75% (sound right? cant remember again..), and make sure it has enough force to make that happen.
try that, and see where it brings you. report back with results, i will see if i can help you tweak it.
im not saying this is the right way to build a drift setup, or if my reasons are correct, but i forget why i used to do everything i did; or even how i did some things. these reasons and adjustments seem to make sense.
