Yes, is a normal error in LFS(I think). There are cut lines (in black) in some zones. Even inside of mountains(White line). But when you focus the camera in 10º-40º angle vision, the trouble is fixed.
Finally the landscape has been reworked from scratch using another texture, adding new color, adding the coast line, adding another atmosphere effects to be compatible with all the contents in Fern Bay:

Yeah, is not posible. Is not a shader. The dds file do not reflect the track in real time. I mean.

I'm still working on the landscape of Fern Bay without any positive result. Remember: 3 sunlight positions, congruence to the current track and vegetation, shadows, color gradient effect on the distant zones,etc.

I was thinking on that, for the photoshopers, inside of lfsforum.net (obviously the result is near of video edition).
Please, Now I prefer by honest. This work is in the same line of the latest works(Revolution Pack April 7th, August 28th and Christmas Gift). Doesn't mean that the current work will be a perfect work or much better than the earlier. I go to try to make it as real as posible but I'm not god.

The blackwood Clear Day file needs a small improvement on the ilumination of the clouds.
The clouds, reflect almost the 100% of the shiney. The Sky is not reflected in all the perspective and there are a degradation and looks in black colour in some zones.
The Study of the elements and the incidence of the light has more variations than "Bright and darker".
Troubles in some textures._
There are the same file (reflections) for various tracks. The study of the elements is more important in these 4 cases. More general, perhaps.
Troubles on the Landscapes._
It needs a lot, a lot, a lot of work. One file to three diferent illuminations. Three sunlight positions.
More work on the shadows.
More work on the coast line. There are a "cut and paste" effect.

About your question, I work in the optimization in all colours. Even Skins.
The trouble is the optimization in grey cars and metallic Skins (Dispersion of the light on bodywork).
The documentation about this addon is very exhaustive. I need to see photos from real cars in almost all colours inside of the context of the current ilumination in the dds that I am working.
+1. Yeah. The current pic is just a preview of the study of the light. 10% aprox. completed (The next is the study of the elements, dispersion of the light in grey colours and metallic Skins,etc). I use some trees to see a reference preview to see something near of the final result.
About your question, in LFS there are 15 dds files exclusively for reflections. In one case, there are the same reflection for 3 tracks. In another case there the same file for two tracks. The rest it is independent.
Finally, I will work on each dds file as Blackwood clear day. Putting a lot of work to do a genuine file. Well... as always... (I think).
Blackwood clear day. FZ50 with Rosso Corsa colour. Almost finished. Testing the contrast of the elementes and clouds. Improving ilumination for the dark areas. The documentation in this iluminations is completed.

Remember that is a texture. Important elements will be reflected in the same camera angle. The pits will be reflected in any part of the track, but always remember that a balance must be sought (That is the reason to publish pics in the post number 342, to see that is not a miracle, just a trick and an optical effect.). It is hard job to work with the current reflection system. Anyway it is nice the result.
