The 2nd last pic from the first post makes him look like he's mad lol.

Now we'll just need to cross our fingers hoping he'll be able to put a good show.

Tire wear (non-racing)

Sometimes I just don't understand why people can have their tires last much longer than I do given that he/she does the same type of driving. May be strictly speaking I'm a bit more spirited in terms of driving style. I do mostly freeway driving. When the tires have 3/32" left, they're considered worn since water can't leave the tire efficiently (My area rains a lot during winter).

Some of you may be familiar with the UTQG treadwear rating. It's a rating that gives you an idea how long tires will last under controlled conditions. 100 means it'll last as long as the standard. A tire can be rated under 100 if you use really sticky tires. A rating of 270-300 is pretty common for all-season tires and can be found on summer tires that's not super sticky. Some passenger tires can have a rating of 700 (you probably don't want to get this kind). The OE tire, which has a rating of 300, wear poorly that they're basically gone after 15000 miles. So I switched to some Michelins that is rated at 400. They last me about 33000 miles over the course of approximately 15 months, which means I go through tires almost once per year.

The question: Is it really my problem? One of my relatives claims she got about 65000+ miles on the OE tire (rating is 300). Given that we both have the same car and alignment settings are within specs, why I'm going through more tires? My car is at 88000 miles now, changed the shocks/struts at low 70000 miles. No signs of abnormal tire wear such as cupping

ok, I've just put the video on YouTube. I think a few people in the cast list is active in the forum today.

Here it is:

Is this the beginning of S2 Era or still S1?
What LFS video got you into LFS?

Does anyone here got inspired to play LFS by watching a LFS-related video?

I have a video that was made a long time ago (can't be found on YouTube), but not sure if I should just upload it there to show you guys. It was the S1 Era back then I believe where the South City main pit is at the other side of the road. Someone also made a intro-to-LFS video that inspired me also, but I couldn't find it anywhere.

It'll be even worse when the car that "jumped" land right on a car. Good video by the way.

Mouse steer will help. In the meantime, save up for a Logitech MOMO or a Driving Force Pro. You won't regret once you upgrade to a wheel.

I have another question. How can I bind a button on my wheel so I don't need to use the keyboard to cycle through all the menu (tire, suspension damange, brakes+suspension adjustment, fuel/tire pressure options)?

TIA
Finally got a DFP

I finally switched to Driving Force Pro, which will finally let me drive the FBM properly. I have a good time, but still need to figure out how to drive the cars.

Anyways, I'm kind of clueless how to make it into 900 degree mode. How do I do that?

Has to be B's fault. B Forcefully attempted to squeez in when A already got the line. B Should have find elsewhere to pass.

I heard about LFS a long time ago, but did start playing it until not long ago. Here's how I started:

I used to play Racer since it's free and I wanted to try something besides Gran Turismo. I stopped playing after 0.5.0 because my computer couldn't play it back then. Even I got another computer that can run it some time later, I eventually quit because the downloadable content aren't so good (missing textures in a track even it's completed, for example) and its "collision detection" is very bad (drive into a wrong place will send the car up in the air in unrealistic means). Around that time, I heard of LFS. It was still S1 back then, but my computer isn't good enough to play once again. I was really amused by the video "South City Robbery" (you guys may remember that video). South city Cab Co., which is a team that still exist, was part of the cast.

I get bored with GT4 pretty quickly as there are too many events to complete and the "driving mission" is driving me nuts (can do any of them except the last one). I soon rediscovered LFS. Spent some time on the demo and really liked it. Then I decided to get S2 and never regret it. I started at about Patch X when you can get fault start.

I also tried the normal direction and they don't know how to exit the chichane. They just ram the wall on their own. After race ends, they know how to get back to pits, but two AI don't know their way in the pits and cause two of them just exit the pit and just stayed there.
