if i record abit from the video it doesnt sound right when its looping, goes up and down to much or maybe i'm just not doing it right, dont really know:P
i pretty much learned how to drift using LFS and i know other drifters who have used to to practice (some of Australias top drifters used to practice in LFS)
steering felt the same in my old car as it does in LFS so it was pretty easy when i 1st went drifting, already knew what to do
i havent tried with my G25 yet, alot of ppl say the 370z in game doesnt drift all that well but i think its pretty much the same irl, from the reviews of the car ive seen they all say the car isnt that good in a slide
cant wait to try something more drifter friendly like a silvia then i'll really be able to tell if the physics are decent
one big thing i think GT5 is doing better then Forza 3 is the in car view, its playable in GT5 and so much more real
1 person that can only be voted in or out by a few thousand ppl yet has the power to screw over so many ppl all over the country
1 person that is forcing his views onto everybody, he is also apart of a group called Family First who love to force there beliefs onto everybody, atm there also trying to have R18+ moves being banned from being on display in shops to protect the children
ppl can believe in what ever they want but can piss off when they try to force there
thats only 1 cheap mod to get more steering, there are alot more ways to gain steering lock for less then $200 and afew hours installing them
its really basic stuff and fine to use on a street car
i dont get why there isnt more lock, such a small thing makes a huge difference
also @ the ppl saying drifting is easy or that racing is harder, have u ever tried to drift? it has a much higher learning curve then racing, its a different set of skills, both take alot of skill to do well
lol this thread was pretty much a thread about S2000 motors vs V8 and that was the only S2000 in my fav's list
car is built for time attack wich it does pretty well, fastest cars here are mostly Evo's and a few GTR's, dont see many RWD cars doing well in time attack here, also does 10's and is street driven
if you raced someone that couldnt drive yea maybe, dont forget a S2000 is alot lighter then your car so off the line it would kill your car, hp and torque arent the only things that make a car fast
my AE86 making like 70kw would beat alot of cars with more power off the line then get destroyed because it has no power lol but it turns corners good and thats all i care about for now, later when i have more money i'll put a turbo motor in it then it wont be so crap in a staight line
4cly and rotarys built to be really light and small, mount the engine as far back and as low as you can to give better wieght balance = a better handling car
V8, good for making power but almost allways weighing more then most 4 and 6's, more wieght in the engine = worse waight balance (well at least when its a FR setup)
your big heavy car with its big V8 takes more power to go as fast as a small car with a 4cly + the small car will allways out handle the big car
to bad that was prob the biggest budget car that drifted that year but did heaps bad lol, V8's are good for easy power but would have been better with a SR20 imo, you never see the Japanese putting V8's in there drift cars, you almost never see them even putting 6's in it unless it was the stock engine
