Thirdly, the car. Honda have improved dramatically from their lowest point of the season (France IMO), from the 7 grand prix's after the French, Honda scored a total of 54 points, 10 points less than Renault from the same races, 8 less than Ferrari but 33 points more than McLaren, Honda more than doubled their points tally in 7 races. I'n the recent tests at Barcelona, Honda have shown their long stint performance to be both fast and reliable, yesterday infact, Rubens Barrichello completed 115 laps whilst Christian Klien completed 105 laps, totalling 220 laps without a failure of any kind. Barrichello ended the day 5th with Klien 10th.

Finally, Jenson has changed since his win in Hungary, I dunno if I'm the only one who has noticed but in the last 6 races he was incredibly consistant (Turkey he was 4th for the whole race, catching 3rd) but also fast when needed to be, (Final stint at Brazil put him within striking distance of Alonso come the chequard flag.) If he could just tidy up his qualifying a bit, he could become a very sound, all-round driver. And he is still only 26..

Hell think i just dont like Button man caus of 2 things

1st. Commentary bias! like somone said earlier bout pedro its just awfull. "uh yes im down here in the pits with Jenson button OH MY GOD!! JENSON HAS STARTED THE CAR UP HES ON HIS PRACTICE LAP MY GOD!!... 5 minutes later This just in we have an update from the pits. THIS JUST IN JENSON IS BACK IN THE PITS AND HAS CHANGED TYRES REPEATE CHANGED TYRES HES GONNA WIN THE RACE NOW!!... i really dont like that guy on the itv commentary in the pits...

2. He rear ended me when i was winning the Aus GP in F1 06 ggrrr

That is sort of how or division sorting works a percentage of the WR or something other wise you wouldnt have the other cars in the top divisions (i dunno somone else should be able to explain it better)

Div A last night everyone not in an FZR got lapped. Partly because chaz is so damn quick but more to do with the fact that the other cars were soo slow. When our races go for and hour and a half (55 laps AS national Reverse) then the FZR is going to win easy.

Bugle held the WR for the XRR on this combo and last I checked I held the WR for the FXR so we were driving them fast.. BUt it was pretty well useless.

I only brought it up becuase it would be nice to have a field of cars that were varied but were equal in terms of pace. The XRR and the FXR actually produced some good racing, but the FZR is to fast. illepall

If we could have the FZR brought back to the others or them brought up, it would be much better IMHO.

Definatly the XXR VS FXR duels were like Holden VS Ford (im not naming which represents which or we could be here all day fighting)

Having take part in said race (despite having a total shocker lol) i agree
100 % with Righty here, the cars are still definatly unballanced which is a shame seeing as this was called out GTR 2006 series. (prolly gonna turn into the FZR 2006 now lol (yeah Shonky i keep stealing your joke lol) ) And personaly i prefer the XRR over FZR but there is no way to be competative with it . How hard would it be to even out the classes i mean just add like 20 kg to the fzr and fixed right? just change a few values...of cource hotlaps will have to be wiped again

what i would like to see is if they could get the devs ON topgear for an interview and bring along a copy of s2 to show them and do some tests or something? im not quite sure but i would really like to see clarkson have an interview with them

it was that cpu problem i showed it to one of the guys at the lan and he changed the clock speed of my cpu in the bios and now its 70 fps!!!! and aboyt 50 with sh!t loads of people around!!!!

But still illd like to thank all of you guys for all the tips you gave me im sure they will be handy again some other time

One more thing i wasnt albe to figure out what caused it and if i dont push F1 at start up it runs at a 1.17 but meh it works now i dont care!!

well i get more fps in single (no other cars) but the problems started during a multiplayer game

EDIT: I THINK I MAY HAVE FOUND OUT THE PROBLEM!!! you know how i said my cpu is a 2.0 ghz right? well i remeber a long time ago i had this bug that the computer would think that my cpu was runing at 993 hz but did not affect performance at all. Now i it is doing the same thing but it is affecting the performance only thing is... I FORGOT HOW I FIXED IT LAST TIME!!! i dont think i had to touch the bios to fix it either ANY SUGGESTIONS?!?!?! (sorry for all the caps got a lan in 45 minutes and we are playing fear so it would kinda help if my comp was up to scratch for that lol )

EDIT: well ive done thoes things and it hasnt really helped like in fern bay green in the gtr's with about 14 other people around its around 6 fps (which sucks caus i got a race under thoes cercimstances next thursday!!)

well im still having major problems fps is still shocking no matter WHAT settings i change. somone mentioned unclogging the ram or something how do i do that?

Is it usual for the cpu to run at 95 - 100 % whilst playing lfs?!??!?

well im actualy thining it may be a hdd issue im gonna run a reg cleaner and see what that does if it does nothing then ill look into the cpu

EDIT: well its fixed the little fps skips i get sometiems but its still mad as laggy with people (BTW i have NOT overclocked i think i just screwed up my numbers lol )
EDIT2: well ive also tried cleaning out the ram i now get about 50 on my own but it still lags like shit with other people around could it just be that aston historic is too big and laggy for me?? also i have no idea how to use this motherboad program thingy i need a few instructions to get the info you guys need

Hi folks

Well it all started the other day just having a lesurily cruse around Aston Historic Reversed in my FOX when BOOM! my fps droped from my average of 45 fps with lots of people around down to an average of 15. The race got restarted and i was getting 9 on average with everyone around me. When im on my own i get 30-40 when i used to get 50-60. I havent changed ANYTHING on my comp for ages, ive done virus scans and ad wear scans, ive changed around lod setting and stuff like that to no avail it stays the same.

Anyone got a solution!!!

(yes i searched around and i belive that my problem is different to the other peoples)

Oh yeah specs
AMD 2400 XP at 2.0 ghz
1 gig of ram
ati 9600 XT 128 mb gfx card

the game has been running fine for ages on these specs mabey its just something up with my hdd but i dont wanna format caus i got to much stuff to back up :S (ps im also getting a new comp at christmas so yay go me)

Well im only 14 i first played S1 when i was like 12 (on a demo cd of a mgazine) AND I HATED IT!!! (lol i thought it was so stupid caus you couldnt take any of the corners properly) then a few years later somone said something on some forum about live for speed and that there was gonna be damage in the next version (S2) so im like ok cool. i started to play s1 (i had a wheel now that made it very enjoyable) then S2 came out and i havent had a social life that didnt involve cars for months :P
