Most people I know have an nvidia card and wouldn't touch ATI cards.
However I think the split between the 2 sales wise overall is 50:50.

If I was you, I'd seriously consider a Focus if you can't get a Puma. Mine is a 1.6l 03 plate, cost me £5k from a Ford Dealer with 32k miles on it, and it's cost me £1200 to insure fully comp (i was 19 at the time, 20 now). Insurance renewal arrives in September, touch wood i have no claims between now and then.

I took it to some Scottish country lanes over the weekend, had loads of fun with it, the handling is superb, and the engine is very responsive. It now looks like it's done a stage of Rally GB (it was quite muddy up there!).

I also visit friends around the country quite often, and it's a very easy and comfy car to drive on the motorways too.

First things first, remove Norton.

There are chocolate fireguards that are more useful than Norton is. It is quite easily the worlds worst anti-virus/internet security. The amount of computers we get at work that are fixed by removing Norton is unbelievable!!

Other than that, what people have said above ^

AVG Free edition is pretty good for a free AV. But normally you get what you pay for. Personally Kaspersky Internet Security is one of the best I've seen. I only use the Anti-Virus edition as I already have a firewall. 1 downside to the Internet Security is the firewall wants permission for everything, but it's no biggy really.

So to summerise, to stop getting viruses:
A decent Anti-virus and firewall (avoid Norton, Macafee etc.)
Use Firefox or Opera (avoid Internet Explorer)
Careful browsing (avoid the pr0n websites)

It's posts like these which are WHY this community has gone downhill rapidly lately.

Let him do what he pleases, I cruise sometimes just to have a bit of a relax, or to fill in a bit of time when I can't be arsed to race (which in all fairness on LFS is pretty much all the time right now as it's boring!).

He put a thread up hoping some people might understand the concept a bit more. But I think most people do understand it here anyway, so maybe he was a bit naive to put the thread up in the first place.

You 'regular' posters complain when people are trolling threads, have a look at yourselves and see what you're doing.

If you don't like the thread, simply DON'T POST IN IT.

I really enjoyed all 3 races, race 3 after the safety car was fantastic, showed some real driving skill. Plato's fight up through the field in both races was brilliance, especially in race 2 when he had alot of damage to his car. I could see it crabbing on the straights, it didn't look easy to drive!
