Well I quite enjoy it, bashing over rocks etc, after some upgrades to get over them that is!

Physics wise when driving on the road it's terrible though, but the physics for climbing over rocks etc is all really quite good (all aids off), the blur when driving at high speed is annoying though.

I've not had any of this crashing lark either. It's worked fine for me, looks good too!

It's not really a sim, more a semi-sim I think, lack of FFB is a downside, who cares about lack of cockpit view? Yes it would be nice, but for a bit of fun I think it's very good!

Quote from Whitmore :I use the G25 settings straight out of the box and get much better feedback than in LFS.

Same here. Can't say I have any problems at all 'feeling' the cars, I know what the front wheels are doing all the time.

It has Charlie Cox... it's bound to be a laugh! That guy is the best commentator I've ever heard and a funny bloke too! (he did BTCC 97-01 and MotoGP this year)

why would you want to remove one?

It needs them both to be honest as the fan on the top is huge and the one at the back both blow air out, so 2 at the front blowing air in keeps a good flow around the case. Plus they help keep hard drives cool and supply air to graphics card and PSU aswell as the CPU/RAM etc.

Quote from Migz :Hoover inside the case? :|

*imagines self in 3 months vacuuming inside of computer when processor and ram detaches itself from mobo and flys up the tube*

Use the compressed air to blast and lift off the dust while the hoover nozzle is near the case to suck up all the dust that starts floating around... Otherwise sneezing fits may occur and the dust then goes EVERYWHERE (i know from experience) Then use the hoover on a low power setting to clean up the dust on the fans and at the bottom of the case

If you smoke - good luck, the tar/crap from fags makes the dust sticky and it doesn't come off without a fight if at all. At work we refuse to touch computers that smokers use and leave in such a state due to it being a health risk.

Also if you have dogs or cats I'd do it more often than once every couple of months.

A note on the Antec 900 (I have one).

It has 9 visable drive bays, 6 of them (2 'hard drive cages' with a fan in each 'cage' which will fit 3 hard drives) are for 3.5inch drives (HDDs etc) and 3 are for 5 1/2 inch - DVD drives etc.

It's a very good case - excellent airflow and runs much cooler than my old case did, and yes an Arctic Freezer 7 Pro fits in without any bother.

Only downside is, it sucks up dust like there's no tomorrow!! Make sure you have a hoover and a can of compressed air handy every 2 months or so.

I went through 1 boredom phase about 2 years ago which lasted 2 months, and then I went through one about 14 months ago that is still ongoing and shows no signs of letting up.

I quite enjoyed the Silverstone races yesterday, wet track always makes it fun. Darren Turner has right to be annoyed at Giovanardi and he's right by saying he's not a worthy champion making stupid moves like that.

Tim Harvey, Mat Jackson and Michael Doyle were 3 drivers of the day to me, Harvey's Porsche race was fantastic, my jaw dropped after seeing him 4th after 2 laps!

Mat Jackson winning race 3 of the BTCC from 13th on the grid was very good too! He is probably the best out there in the wet.

and Michael Doyle in his 5 year old Honda Civic finishing 8th in race 3 from 17th on the grid is a brilliant result, they're known as the smallest team in the BTCC and he's working wonders with that car - he even passed BOTH Halfords Honda Civics which are at 2008 spec, not 2003 spec like Doyle's car! Future champion I feel - like Andy Jordan, I just hope he has a better budget behind him for a more up to date car next season.

Quote from kirmy :
nowhere near as good as mid 90's touring car standards

I always love it when people say that... Having watched BTCC since the mid 90s and seen videos of full races down to 1991, I have to say, the driving standards then were even worse than they are now!

I seem to recall Steve Soper in particular being a bit of a twat.

Don't get me wrong, I love the BTCC in all its forms over the years, it's a fantasticly close championship (almost) every year, but people who say driving standards were better in mid 90's... That statement is wrong.

(quote)Im here 4 a long time...not a just a great time.........

A bit of advice for advertising the team, using full words and grammar is always a good bet - even when you're not advertising the team and just doing general forum posts. Saything things like 'r' instead of 'are' and 'wot' instead of 'what' really doesn't make you look good, it makes you look more childish than anything.
