Quote from Bob Smith :

So you either lied in your profile or you're lying now. Or you're just damn stupid.

Well then, which is it?

I've been known to say "I'm 18" to shop assistants before when buying alcohol, then think about a second later... "oh wait... I'm 19"

oh and by the way... this thread = priceless.

I agree with The General Lee and Keiran and Bladey too

Yep addon tracks work on steam version too, and work online as long as the track is installed on the server.

the winner for RACE07 over rFactor would be the fact that RACE07 has rain effects, and damn good ones too!

Yes it has its fair share of bugs, but I can assure you that Simbin are working hard to sort as many of them out as they can

Some of those are similar to what i listen to, but some aren't. Check out the bands on my last.fm charts (www.last.fm/user/mr_x)

You might find something from there.

I accidently hit my mirror off the drain pipe which sticks out from the side of the garage next to where I park... It just folded, with no damage. I'm guessing that doesn't count.

fingers crossed that's the worst that happens!

Quote from Tweaker :I am actually considering looking at RACE07 instead, but not sure about how the multiplayer is there

RACE07 is brilliant, huge step up from RACE.

There's some sync issues online, but they're quite rare and Simbin are working on a fix for it, the netcode is very smooth, allows for bumper to bumper racing very easily.

Public servers are full of wreckers as mentioned before, but I race with a community with organised race nights on tuesdays and fridays (and any other days people organise them for) and getting 24 people in evenly matched cars bombing around Brands Hatch Indy circuit is a hell of alot of fun, I can tell you now! :P

In short... for online play, join a community.

Oh plus, Custom skins and addon tracks are supported with RACE 07.

I paid 99.9p per litre for unleaded this morning.

and that's cheap compared to everywhere else in this area which is between 100.9p and 102.9p per litre!!!

I would swear but this forum has kids on it... so... <insert crude word here> rip off Britain!!!

I don't know how to convert to gallons, but here (North-East England) Diesel is anywhere between £1.02p-£1.05p per litre

Petrol (which my car uses) is currently 99.9p per litre.

Rip-off Britain alert!! We have easily the most expensive petrol in the world, mainly because of the stupid amount of tax we have to pay on it.

Quote from BlueFlame :But my point was originally, that abuse for being scouse is not just in football, which you all seem to not be understanding, It's the fact some of the things you say transpire in my actuall life, you may be joking, you may not be, but some people actuallly believe in some of the things you are saying about scousers, and this is wrong. If this kind of slander didn't happen outside of football, i wouldn't care, but it DOES happen outside football, still don't get it though, it is tolerated to slag off someone from where they are from in England, but not tolerated about their race origin, I.E, African or Asian tell me what the difference is? There isn't one.

Just be glad you don't live in Sunderland then

sort of contradicting those 'racism' posts you did in this thread before

Yes, I have nothing to say about football at the minute :nol2:

I'm 19 and I drive a 2003 Ford Focus 1.6, my insurance is £1200 per year, by myself, with no other drivers. I was lucky with that quote, the next cheapest was £1800.

I've had 2 previous years experience in a 2005 Toyota Yaris 1.25 (my mums car), which was insured under my dads name (6+ years NCB) at £900 for first year when car was brand new, and £700 last year. I'm now off that insurance and it's now £150

the UK is a pure rip-off for anything related to driving.

Quote from BlueFlame :I don't care if it's a joke, It's like saying a black man is a n***** and I won't stand for it. Liverpool is my passion and all the best English people I have ever met have been from Liverpool, all southerners have ever given me is a headache they know nothing about English culture, the real heritige is up north and you slander it. Racist jokes aren't allowed here, neither should this. And again, this is amplified to me as people INSIST and believing something that isn't true. You say it is a joke, but is it really a joke to you? You have never been to Liverpool, you are probobly too scared, or maybe you would never venture up north well, we are fine without you.

so you've never laughed at an Englishman/Scotsman/Irishman joke? (or Blonde/Brunette/Redhead for that matter). Or any other jokes like that. Or poked fun at some other area of the world or even another area of the UK.

These jokes exist, it's just poking fun, every region has their rivalries, Newcastle's is with Sunderland, we take the piss out of each other as much as the other does. (same goes with north/south, England/Scotland, England/Wales, England/Ireland - I can see a pattern here)

Works both ways you see.

All I'll say is try and get a sense of humor. It's a very handy thing to have.
