Omg, this only represents the tension thats going on out there. Now i have tried to make a little joke, wich came through badly. My fault, i guess im dead now.

But, i really dont see the point of all this fighting about 30 sec sand penalty or 1 lap, as it was kinda clear to me reading the posts, then Paul suggested the 30 sec sand penalty for all teams, not just GT2 XRR cars. Or am i wrong? And this T7R crying about stuff is really getting old to me, as its not the first time i have seen stuff like that from them. Although i would like to see the penalty reduced from 1 lap to bit less, as it is a sht long one, it is stil same for all teams as it stands. For us that internal means, u get in sand, u loose a ball. Do it 3 times, u get castrated. And while i appreciate all this testing and balancing the gt2 class, i just dont understand all the hard words some are saying over here.
True, when season started, we all had a choice of choosing the cars. And while manly teams (reffering to GT2 class), chose XRR, some have decided to go for pussy FXR. Its everybodys choice.
And please, stop taking stuff all that serious, or cant you undrstand the sence of joking?

At this point, i only would like to ask you 1 thing. My name in race will be: 24 Z.Hajdinjak. So if you want to take it out on me, do it while im be driving, not any of my other team mates. You all shall have a fair bit of chance, as i will most likely be in the car for 6 hrs or more. Please don't take it out on any of my team mates, they have nothing to do with my big ignorance and sht.

Other than that, believe it or not, i trully wish ALL the teams very best of luck!

hello!

Erm i was just intersted in why would you want a heavier xrr? If fxr is too slow just make it fasta, and thats it. And that way you can have more ppl doing fxr tests, varying form 25% restriction and down, maybe even 2-3 different restriction, cutting down on intake % graduatly. And the absence of fzr makes things that much easier, and bottom line i dont think sidid testing is relevant info :P, hes just too fast.

K was joking a bit, but idea behind making xrr heavier is -1 from me, as stated above.

And you really think that at their job they really give a damn about beauty? Hell if they cared about that they would have repalced Jean Todt years ago. We can only thank god BMW didnt look like that when they put it in LFS, else we be skining still

See, when i started palying lfs, i thought that those quick bastards (:>) were having like uber setup and what not, so it became clear to me that i need that too. And i started playing around with them. Maybe you should too, and you will see it is not that hard. And its a great pleasure winning a race knowing that you made the setup at your own. Even greater when somebody actually asks you for setup, bcz it seems to be good. Just try that, and it will be fine. LFS allready has same cars for every driver, so making setups even too makes no sence and is just stupid. Sorry

LOL, nice thread!

Now in my humble opinion, and from what i read in books and see on telly, cornering properly is all about getting the correct slip angle in any given corner (yea drifting, slightly). And naturaly until now, it was best achieved with locked diff, and it was easyest to drive. Fast that is. And it still is, but at the cost of huge tire overheating. And since we are doing the MOE, we get to play with setups really hard. So after Y patch, at same driving style, our setup had to be completely remade, as it was undrivable. And we have both locked diff, and clutch pack atm, giving roughly same lap time. And same tire burn. The thing with new patch is that driving has become harder, so setups are gonna have to be made with precision to work properly. And they require mroe delicate driving in order to keep tires last. Now correct me if im wrong, but imo devs have made this patch for sprint racing, as all of given tires atm cant preform as they did before. And that really pisses me off, because i have to go slower than im used to. I wanna go fastr, damnit lol.

So back on topic, it was same before; use clutch pack and you get; faster,more difficult lap times, if you have low coast setting and high lock ; and vice versa. Thats why high coast setting is understeery so it makes you feels in more control, while going slower, just like in your normal day car, where they are all setup to understeer like a pig. So now youwe got the choice: have fun with control at the back, or pwn with adrenaline slip angle at the podium. Either way, all shall have fun. And if you do know of what setting exactly tehy are using irl, and if they can be compared to any car here in LFS, please, i wanna see it.

But never the less, moe 24 hr race is coming, we will get huge amount of info there, so i can tell you whats best option then. So will some other teams, if they choose to be bothered.

I am not really sure i ubderstand you m8. As though it might be true that IRl you can built in throtle cut off (i dont know the technical possibilyties), just take a look at DTM for example. Whilst some teams drive there with more powerfull engines, they have a weight ballast. And what's XFR concerned, i dont't see the reason as to why it should be a necessety for that car to have a throtle cut; it's the devs choice, as is some IRL series choice to make up rules as to what is allowed in a car and what not. And about BF1 and the H gate, i thought LFS automatically switches shifting to sequential, and u cant shift H-gate? And the new car, i am sure as Scawen has driven it, its the way it shifts gears. GTR class has gearboxes that way so it balances tha class. Imo it feels right as it is, as i take it as it is.

It is funny in a way, this situation.

Remeber why you probbably started to play LFS. I bet my ball (still need one LOL), that we all have been talking to people we know that LFS is very realistic and what not. That it feels like u drive real race car and such. And now, while it tends to get even closer to reallity, some of the same people are talking here that it is sht hard, and that we want some of the arcade solutions back. And what do we say to those same people now? Well i say: "ZOMG man, u have to lift off and sht now, just like you have to do it real car!!" What do you say to them?
Feeling desperate? I know i lost 1.5 sec off my times bcz of that, and i ain't crying am i? Its the same when petrol goes up. Everybody's bitchin' but yet all remain driving, same will happen here.

Well, Niki Lauda said about 3 years ago on german TV, that you could put a monkey in the F1 car nowdays and it would get along with it (Maybe this will change next season.). I think here is the reason for so many young drivers coming into F1 these days than in past, when experience and talent mattered more.

As for Alonso, hes is a good driver, but not great. He only fearly won 1 champioship, the 2nd one. Because if it weren't for the breaking down mercedes shit, Kimi would have pwn him bad and Alonso would be just a good driver and nothing more. I actually think he has to thank McLaren/mercedes for making him famous long before he joined them lol.

And as for the Offtopic things going on, I can somehow see Tristan beeing a jackass, since hes bored because he seems not to have any real life concerns (sorry if its not the case), but you Leprekaun, by god your parnets must really love you to put up with the shit you must be saying all time at home. And at the same time, they failed to raise you properly to see the world as it is.

And yes, im ready for the flaming, i might respond later.

I agree with this. I think it is enough to have "official" colored sunstripes and numberplates.

As for the back side of a car, imo each team should do something about it indicating wich car class it is. I saw most of GT2 teams did their GT2 sign on the back, maybe now just make everybody use same color for those signs.

And for the back of the car i thinik it is better for teams to make their own design, wich will float with the skins better, but should be visible.

This aside, i can't wait to see the stuff u doing

I didnt say its ur fault for that incident m8, im just saying that something could be said in tha moment u went on back of the grid, even race stopped and then restarted 1 min later, if it were for you to start last.

Yes, i want to know what are you going to do with this, because last night i got the impression that nobody could care less about that situation, where bawbag got put on the tail of the grid, then beeing involved in a huge crash on lap 3 bcz of the ambition to get to front real fast, taking some people race to an end before it even started. I thought that the grid was to be remade, and even more so if i take it serious that 3 guys had to be properly positioned, and replays were checked to see who made the time first and what not.
