Anyway, as people say, most of the fast and good people have bought S2 lisence because they couldn`t stand beeing wrekced over and over again on the demo servers.

Couldn`t keep my hands off from the wheel for long Friend asked me if I wanted to come speeddrifting with him, couldn`t resist. Found out that he and I are about the same good. Was so much fun to actually race around blackwood with him, didn`t last long till bunch of newbie drifters came to the server and blocked the roads totally. Even the admin didn`t care eventhough he was up there drifting too.

I need that damn S2 NOW If I had the money for it, I think it would go for a new wheel & pedals set My gas pedal doesn`t work correctly, feels like fuelcutting.

Is there really any GOOD drifters in demo anymore? Like, a year ago there were alot of them, but now all the fast servers are full of noobs Can`t really train well anymore, having nothing new to try or anyone good to compete with. All the others spin all the time or don`t know how to slow the drift down and crashes in various places.

The set is actually around 5 years old, or even older. Haven`t tried it in any other game, becouse I don`t have any. and I wouldn`t mind going 400 kilometers to my brother to see if the same happens in GT3...

How risky it is to open the pedals and clean up the pots and stuff? I mean, if there`s even slightest possibility to lose my pedals, wouldn`t mind doing that.

They wouldn`t like to put any money on any racing games, they do say it`s just waste of money. They also say that I`m too old to play racing games... Guess they don`t know how much I love cars and driving, eventhough at the moment I`m studying to be a car mechanic.

Is it in LFS or my pedals?

My wheel/pedal set is Wingman Formula Force GP, after using th pedals for... lets say, around an hour, it cuts throttle randomly.

I mean, when I push it pedal to the metal, it just suddenly cuts it, then it works again, and cuts again. Don`t really know how to describe it, but it`s comparable to fuelcutting.

I still can drive around, but it`s just freaking annoying when you`re trying to drift as hard as you can and it just cuts your throttle randomly.

People who use cracks and shit don`t respect LFS and it`s makers. Believe me, eventhough I haven`t gotten the S2 yet, I will get it, no matter what.
I`m not the greatest money saver there is, that`s why it`s a rather big project for me
But I still atleast respect LFS`s programming crew enough to wait till I get money for the licence.
For example, if you love some band enough, you don`t download its cd`s illegally from the internet, you wait till you have the money it takes and buy the cd.

For being from Finland, my english may not be that kind of what people would understand, but I hope you understood my point in the message.

Around 2 years without s2, and willing to be demo racer for another 2 if it`s needed...

I`m not going to scream for a S2 licence, but I wouldn`t mind to get one I`ve been racing (mainly drifting, though) for ages, just can`t get enough extra money for the licence. I didn`t get a summerjob either, lol. Dad said there would probably be something to do for me at his work, we`ll see. I hope I`ll be racing with you guys soon =P

How`s my drifting?

Here`s the problem, I can`t save replays! Whats wrong? Bit annoying to drift around for 10 minutes wishing to get some cool pics, but then I can`t save the replay. I`ve tried with no laps, with laps, no laps with AI, with laps and AI`s. But nothing, non nada nara replay saving possibility.

My average fps is around 40. With best graphics it`s about 15-25 when racing online

Try making simple shhhhhhh sound, as *.wav file and load it to the game, and try what it sounds like. Just try and you`ll get it

And to make your own sound, try www.speedlife.se for soundclips and edit it with Audacity for example, then laod it as usually.
