Just because you have SP3 doesn't mean you can't use software released that needed SP1 at the time. SP3 is just a collection of bug fixes and patches for Windows, it doesn't make old programs not work all of a sudden (that is a job for Windows Vista).

yeah the idea of the two mouse thing was to keep one cursor in LFS and your other for the different stuff - if it would work or not I can't say. The problem is LFS seems designed to shut it's sound off when it's not in focus (which is slightly different to it being always on top)

Tweak UI might work but again I'm not sure

I used to post in the forums after the race along with many others but it died down in favor of the chatterbox.

Also the same petty post arguments about bumps and crashes in the race spilled over here - but it's an aggressive sport and feelings run high.

My race went ok, I had some nice battles and did two pretty nice overtaking moves. I actually damaged my car without realizing and only watching the replay reveals how much I was having to correct the bouncing, I was in such a groove I didn't notice. 14th to 7th was a good result and I was mainly pleased to last the distance when bumping the walls on this track too hard = race over.

It did get a little overboard in the forum the other day and I do regret it but can't change my reactions - I take things personally and react over the top sometimes.

I do realise I'm not quite suited for admin work because I can't put up with idiots and will react in a negative and unprofessional way and as it happens did plan to step down to just a racer last year but we have had a shortage of hosts for the last couple of seasons - it's quite difficult to cater for so many races per weekend and as it is, most of the staff have to host two races as well as drive in another.

Until we have enough staff you'll just have to put up with me being the reckless staff member I am as after four or so years I'm unlikely to change now.

Sorry for being contentious here but I've read through loads of posts here and hardly any relate to bugs specific to Z13. Because people have been waiting for a new patch to try they are just looking for any old bug in LFS and reporting it. My point is that maybe if everyone stopped looking and highlighting old bugs and things which aren't bugs at all maybe we would see a new release sooner. I'm pretty sure the Devs have a list of everything that needs doing and are busy doing it. How about for a change we just wait quietly for some news?

I can't see us moving dates now and we really don't want to clash with F1. We especially can't change for one persons holiday because it may well then interfere with 20 other people's holiday dates.

As far as the length of the summer break goes it's a contentious issue, some of us would actually prefer no summer break whilst others would - no system is going to please everybody.

Funny things is I'd be happy with you insulting my family.

I wouldn't mind if you'd have raced that combo in our league before, we're not to blame if you have driven it before in other leagues - maybe you drive in too many - I've only ever driven in two and don't think I've had the same combo more than twice.

Whatever dude - a race is only as fun as you make it - if you have a boring race it means you were boring yourself. Face is if that many people crashed off that means there was excitement and that with 8 other people in front you should be putting in pb's to try and get a win - just sounds like Kamo was too slow for the other Pool 1 guys in front and didn't like it to me. If you want to have a race you can win just go to single player mode and put the AI cars on Rookie mode.

Anyway I found the combo quit exciting - perhaps that's because I'm not the most super LFS driver and have setups which make me glued to the track - yeah I spin every now and then and I'm not too fast but at least I have fun in every race. Watching a race with racers all driving around without making mistakes doing the same time per lap is boring to me.
