No, they're too big for me. I want a normal sized one (3,5"-4").
Yes, I know android is great and I love it, but I just want to try something different.

Quote from dawesdust_12 :A new one is 600€. Apple doesn't (officially) sell refurb iPhones either, they only sell them as a "trade" (aka, you smash your own phone, they will sell you a refurb for reasonably cheap ($150 CAD for 4S I think)).

It's through a friend of mine, not apple or something official.

Because my Samsung Galaxy S Plus is dead and I'd like to try something different.

I can buy an Iphone 4S 32GB for 300€. Comes with all boxing, accesoires, manuals and invoices. No damage, works perfect. Is this the normal price for a used one?

Quote from Shotglass :wont a v8 completely mess up the weight balance of the car?

No, might even improve it a bit. More weight to the back to get a better weight distribution.
Although my E36 has a very good one allready, that's why I'd like to stick to a 6cyl.
Think I'll go for the supercharger anyway. M3 engine on boost, will be cool.

And yes, drifting isn't everyones taste, but if you'd only knew the skill involved. (just as rallying etc etc), you would appriciate it more

Well... That's kinda beyond my budget. I could use an LS engine and accusump. IIRC, it's when they rev to high that it goes wrong. So keep to 6400rpm max orso or even lower. V8 would be the way to go, but wich engine...
I could buy an E39 M5 for parts, but then again the sump needs to be modified to fit the subframe. Or I could sell everything and wait untill the right car pops up...

Hmmm I have doubts again
I'd really like to stick with the E36. But not sure now what to do for more power.
On the top of my list I still have the supercharger for the M3 engine. I was also considering LS engines (1,2...) but not sure on how reliable they actually are for drifting (oil starvation?).
Turbo engines... same thing. Was thinking 1JZ, 2JZ but again, allot of work and money involved into getting it properly into my chassis.
Last option was selling the M3 as is and buying something different. But I want something reliable as I have now...

Quote from BigPeBe :Actually IIRC none of the original cars had properly locking diffs, but if you modified the physics and gave enough power the car would get two wheels spinning too.

The Duke does, try it

Quote from Senninha25 :Thirded. Stunt jumps and smashing cars about with a fire engine or a bus is always great fun, and a lot more worth it than going for 100% completion.

Fourthet...

They even had some cars have locking diffs. Most of them where just open (wich was simulated pretty good with just one wheel spinning) but cars like the Duke (dodge charger-esque car) had a locking diff etc..
I still play it allmost every day. Just do dick around in cars and run over people.

Oops, 2 days allready past now

Few weeks ago, we had another shooting day, this time at the track of Spa-Francorchamps. We got to drive a Maranello (CRG) 2-stroke competition go-kart there. Was actually really fun, learned allot.
We had to set a a certain time (below 51 secs). I set 50.74, not the fastest but good enough to stay in it. One guy and one girl had to leave again this time because they weren't able to get below that time.

Yesterday, we had a day at Circuit-Zolder again. First we got a "media training" (30 minutes explanation of a guy what to tell infront of a camera etc....). After that we had to do slalom etc... A bit like doing the license test with the XFG in the BL Carpark .
With this test, we could earn a place in the finals (so you'd be safe for the next day). Simple, fastest guy and girls win the ticket. Afternoon was track driving again. My racing lines where very good, braking etc was very good. Just have to save the clutch and gearbox a bit (clutch release, not locking the wheels), so next time I will just heel and toe the bitch!

I was a bit surprised but very happy to hear at the elemination that I got the ticket to the final. I was the fastest, but at the guys, everyone was very close to eachother. But I won

Next time is Circuit-Zolder again, then they will do a mix of different things. Track, drift, AutoX etc... But I don't have to worry about it to much as I'm allready in the final

Guys.... US M3's don't have ITB's like the Euro's. They also just have an M52 manifold, single throttle body. Could be an M3, just gay-spec. 240bhp 3.0 and 3.2.

Oh, post:

He's right, Blueflame. Most trackday drivers in Porsche's, go balls out because that's what they bought the car for. If they crash it, so be it. They have plenty of money.

I know a few guys personally with GT3-RS's, they're crazy and are driving them to the max.

Yes, there are people that can't drive and have such cars. But they mostly just show off on the road with their expensive cars.
But most trackday drivers (over here atleast), do use the cars like they should.
