I have a Radeon X600 for about 6 months now. I don't run really high resolutions (because I play on my tv, doesn't support higher than HD ready), and it's not overclocked afaik.
I used to have the Omega drivers, but everything started to glitch. I first started noticing it in RBR, then LFS, now Fifa has it too, so everything really. So I changed to Catalyst drivers, but it's just the same.

The glitch is just a plain stretched from god knows where, to cover the whole footballfield, the whole ground leven in RBR and I get big walls in LFS, in America's Army the walls change color. So every game is a bit different.

When I tab out of the game and go back in, it's okay for a while, but the glitching comes back after a while.

I don't think it's overheating, the fan works, and it doesn't feel hot or anything. I'm quite puzzled

Panzer Commander, it's quite old, I think one of the first tank sims out there. I used to have a demo, was quite good really (I think).

If rain would be available in LFS, this would have come up pretty quickly, I guess. The way those wipers are positioned, they would clear most of the windscreen on the passenger's side, instead of the driver's side.

I want a red one... And over time the red fades and becomes pink.

Looking at that blog page, we can whittle it down.
"tongue can strip paint" could just be that he makes nasty comments about people (there's a couple that mention his tongue, so this makes it more likely to be true).

Expert sent the estimated repair cost in today. He put it on 1.100 euros... Not really much.
So now the car will or get fixed with second hand parts and be sold, or it'll be sold in its current state.
We already found a potential next car: a black, 3 doors Focus, 2006, plenty of options, 1800 TDCI (115 hp). I'd be really happy to get that one.

I wonder what simulator they used But looks crap though, so I guess it wouldn't be too much fun. If you want to have fun with it, it needs rendering and I think the simulator takes a lot of cpu power.

All they did today was take pictures of my car, they should be finished with looking at those tomorrow or beginning of next week. So I still don't know if they're going to pay me, or it'll be a total loss.

You don't need a truck to get no damage in a crash, my brother-in-law got rear-ended, his Mondeo had no damage, the other car was a bit smashed up.

Of course, of the person in the damaged car is panicked or in a bad shape, you don't leave them, but if there's nothing wrong, it's just their problem, it's not illegal driving away from it.

And about the car slamming in the back of the truck, that's quite normal, if your car isn't damaged or anything, and it's not your fault, why wait around? It's the other guy's fault anyway, so he'll have to pay. In some way he even does him a favor, he could of had him pay for a new bumper and stuff..
But that only works when it's not your fault..

Well, at this time this is the idea, still depends on the insurance company how much they'll pay back:
1. repair the car only on the front, not too expensive, second hand parts and sell it, get a new one
2. repair the car all around, rear door too (was already dented) a complete respray and keep it

I know that's the biggest luck I could have. I wanted to change the thread title to "Some people..", because I really appreciate what the witness did for me.

Problem with the scene that bothers me the most is the quality difference between the jag and the xr. The xr is much less detailed and smooth, looks less real and screws up the whole render.

So today, I was walking down the street from my school. Then I see my car, sitting at its usual spot... But just a bit different then normal:



Because I didn't want to risk any more damage, so the insurance company could pull out, I had it towed:


A little truck, was parked next to me when I arrived at school. Fortunately a witness saw what happened, wrote down the license plate of the truck, which company it was driving for and his own details.
The driver of the truck obviously didn't stop and left nothing, except my car in a bad shape.

If the insurance will pay out enough, the car will get a full respray and a fiesta MK5 2000 front and maybe rear too.
