This a great mod, thank you for stepping out of a comfort zone and trying a plane in LFS so we have more! Is there specific amount of fuel you would recommend using for a more stabilized flight?

Feedback: When I am trying to take off from a runway, it spins out many times even with traction controlled enabled. I can barely get past 3rd gear without spinning out before I take off from a runway in the air. Is there any way you get around this? It seems to do with the aero because it spins the plan around at the top of 3rd gear.

As for your comment, I am not sure why it flies further with 100% throttle the whole time but that is the same case for the other bi-plane that is in LFS currently. It flies much further with the throttle pinned and no steering.

Vehicle mod: THE MONSTER
Details page: https://www.lfs.net/files/vehmods/5609C9

SHORT DESCRIPTION:
Quote :My 1550bhp monster truck. Read description for setup info.

DESCRIPTION:
Quote :**IMPORTANT**: Please read the setups below to choose your liking. Some of the setups are made for specific things, (monster jam show, stunting, offroad AWD focus, etc.), which could result in unhappy players because they were expecting something different.

Setups:
- Stadium Show (Capable of wheelies/stunting while still able to go
off-road. This set is more RWD based for wheelies and show so if you
want more of a true real monster truck feel, try the "Knobbly" or
"Hybrid" set.)
- Knobbly (Overall set for driving around with a more off-road focus.
More AWD focused than the "stadium show" set.)
- Hybrid (Overall set for driving around with a more road focus. More AWD
focused than the "stadium show" set.)
- Road Stunt (Capable of wheelies and stoppies on road surfaces. This is
purely for stunts on the road.)

Configurations:
- Full Panels (All body panels added onto the cage with lights, LED
lightbar and license plates included)
- Open Cage (no panels)
- No Bottom (Bottom panel and some cabin panels removed to see the
ground)
- Monster Jam (Monster Jam show body)

Graphics could use some work which I did see that you recently updated it a bit. I absolutely love the feel and sound of the car. Did I mention the sound? My goodness it sounds exactly like a screaming 350z. Great job on that part.

Quote from Foch_sho :Thanks for the feedback! I understand that it is poorly controlled in fast turns, but it is worth considering that this is a heavy sport-tour bike. He should not attack the turns quickly. This will be extremely difficult to fix, I will have to move away from realism and change the settings of the mass and tires. I won't do that. In the future I will try to make minor edits. I'm just thinking about the next bike that will be able to equal the tsr 500 and vulcan in turns. It will be light and maneuverable. (I really hope so)

Ahh yes, that is very true that it's a heavy sport-tour bike so it won't perform as well in corning as the Vulcan and TSR500. I have actually gotten much more used to the the bike and can still push it pretty hard after learning it's behaviors in certain situations after putting 500+ miles on the bike. I love it man, great job! Definitely my favorite bike right now.

First off, I wanna say amazing job on the bike Foch. I've been having a blast with it and it's quite impressive being very early versions. Sounds like a true bike as well, I love it! I do have some feedback for you though. I noticed when you are leaning at high speeds that it gets quite wobbly sometimes and you can't quite push it to its limits like you can with the TSR500 and Vulcan. However, I can still get around the track pretty quick if I am conscious of the wobble at speeds. However at medium/low speeds it feels phenomenal and I would say "perfect" in my eyes. Truly a wonderful bike and mod.

Super fun car and I love Mister Twos! Only QOL things that would be nice to have is that the tint is a bit too dark currently and it would be nice to have colorable wheels. Otherwise.. Great mod!

Hey Tejdz, I have been absolutely loving this bike. I've put hundreds and hundreds of miles on it. I made a set for it that's pretty stable and I've been having a lot of fun! I know that the set I made has been floating around to other TSR500 enthusiasts and they've been enjoying the bike as well. Are you going to make any updates to this bike as in simple gauges and mirrors? Even just simple gauges would be awesome. Thank you for this fun bike!

You might get a kick out of this video of me outrunning the 500hp "God Foot" on the TSR500. I pushed the bike to the absolute limit on this run!

Quote from Brilwing :I'm wondering why the source code for tools like LFSLazy or AIRIO is not on GitHub or Gitlab, so that other people can help, or when the original author does not have time or lost interest, that other can take over.

LFS Lazy on GitHub as open source would be awesome. That way people could help update it whenever new releases come out!

I'm here with you guys. Now that 7B is out, I gave it a little bit and checked if LFS Lazy for 7B is out Smile I'll wait patiently.

Quote from Eclipsed :How is that a problem? I also rent 2 paid servers and what I'm paying for is practically comfort - the servers are always online and everyone can join them when they want (they're purpose servers for organized events) and I don't have to be online all the time to keep server online, while the free server is basically a temporary server, where you can meet with friends and race together. Or host some semi-spontanious events. So if the devs can keep the whole network alive with income from the paid servers, then I don't see the reason to ban free servers - not allowing the chance to have free servers would affect online activity and might have big impact on racers base in future.
LFS is not a huge profit commercial project like iRacing - LFS devs already have shown they're not doing this to get very rich, but for the passion of creating the best racing sim they can while earning living with it.

Very well said. This is clearly not a problem at all. If anything, OP should be thanking LFS Devs for the option to create free temporary servers to have fun in.

Thank you everyone for rating, giving feedback, and lending a helping hand here and there. This mod is now officially an approved LFS mod! Also, since my mod is now approved I felt compelled to improve all of the setups. All of the setups now have major improvements in overall driving feel. Super happy with them, but I would still love feedback on my new setups to make them even better. Cheers!

Quote from Evolution_R :About the left/right driver position gauges and textures, check how the RB4 GT is done - the gauges are as attachment. Wink

Yeah check out what VladM had to say, he's been helping me with the gauges. I didn't know this would be an issue early on as I am a new modder, so I just created the whole interior as a subobject and went along with my work in the early stages. This will take quite a bit of a headache to get sorted out so what I have now is definitely viable after the main fix, just not perfectly mirrored.

I fixed all of the messed up gauges and buttons when the mirror happens for right hand drivers. Thank you to the right hand drivers for letting me know Smile It's not perfect because the right hand drive speedo and tacho swap places and the battery/oil temp look a little funny, but those fixes will require quite a bit of figuring out unfortunately. I did fix the fuel/water temp gauges on the top so they work as they should in the right hand drive too. So this will be good enough until then! Much better now.

Quote from Desaparecido :This mod is incredibly well made.

The realistic v10 noise, the handling, absolute joy to drive.

Good job.

I appreciate the notice! I have paid very close attention to the details to really make sure it becomes a quality mod and close to the real thing.

Quote from P V L :Hello, I really like this car. But this new speedo looks overloaded to me, showing both KMH and MPH.

Could it be just one of those ? Even only MPH would be better than both in my opinion, saying this

as a person used to KMH. Thanks for this nice mod, have a nice time. P V L

Thank you for the feedback PVL. I will note this and keep it in mind.

I'd like to give a special thank you to VladM for making me custom ADDA 8-R gauges and helping me out by making the blueprint on how to make custom gauges. Here they are, I just finished them up!

While I am here I'd like to share that I've made new 3 new configurations in addition to the default config.
- No Plates (removes rear license plate)
- Track Spec (adds track spec bodykit. All parts are used from other stock LFS vehicles)
- Track Plate (Track spec configuration with license plate for street driving and cruising)

I have provided a screenshot of the new Track Spec configuration as well.

Quote from Daniel564 :Handles really well, beautifully designed, engine note is near spot on. Thumbs up

Only suggestion is to fix up the trackday set, tyres too soft affecting its acceleration and not enough camber for a trackday feel. Unless that got looked after already then I got nothing else to add

Looking foward for more of your mods Smile

Hey thank you very much! I didn’t touch the track day setup after I changed up the weight distribution and weight of the car so I need to get on that. I’ll maybe poke at that tonight if I have time. The Daily setup is current though.

Quote from batya123 :Can you make the real dashboard as this foto?

I made the gauge cluster close to how it is in the real first generation. Because the model is off the first generation, I wanted to keep it more realistic in it’s time.

Quote from iiiiil :maybe paddle shift gearbox fits this car better? idk about sequential, it's weird.
anyway, thanks for mod

I do like how the paddle shifter transmission feels better as well. I have been thinking about switching it and I think I just might now that you said something.

I have updated the headlight and tail light glass to be more transparent so you can actually see the lights now. I have also changed the light brightness accordingly.
