Does wind affect tire temp?

last night when participating in the FLP What's Cookin' I noticed something odd. In qualifying I was in the FZR with R3 tires. The tire temp was a little above optimal temp but when the race started it was a 1 hour race and the tires stayed ice cold?

There was strong wind in the race. Cant remember if it was the same with qualifying but my guess would be that there was?

so what gives?

in DaveWS soundpack v2 theres a subaru wrx sound for the FXO. Copy and rename to the XRT and it should work. But the length of the range probably wont fit 100% as Dave made it for FXO.

wow this video has some great editing. The segment with the FZ50 fast forwarding to the beat was great.

volume offset is to lower the volume of the .wav in that section?

but what in the world does the frequencies do?

tried the ferrari sounds with the RAC. adjusted it a little and it sounds awesome. Feels like a little ferrari now

does anyone have a shift sound leaning towards a regular gearbox? The FZR shift sound is a bit brutal and sounds like a sequantal (sp?) gearbox

Of course making your own zip using some " rF mod sounds" and linking it here is a bit controversy, but making a simple list of what sound files to use where and where to get them would prolly be quite safe (and more honest)..

EDIT: some people who have created those mods for the various other games probably don't like it that we rip off them by making our own "sound packs". I'd rather have lists of sounds instead own "ripped soundfiles", but probably the LFSforum admins&mods tell us what is the correct procedure on this, if the need for such annoucements arise

Theres tons of single car downloads for the sim called "Racer". these cars also use samples so that would probably work AND with that many cars it might be possible to find one thats very similar to the counterpart in LFS
