Not having it going at a chat message instead of green makes me think its not connection related, but somehow I doubt its fault of the test patches.

maybe that problem will solve itself when cars arent "locked" in position untill the green light is on. Once theres the ability to make false starts there wont be that "synch burp" when all cars is released.

sound improvements are desperately needed. When I show this sim to new people the first thing they say is. wtf is up with the sound???

was pretty shocked to hear that I was going to race with ballast for this one. But everthing went down like I had imagined.

My goal was to finish 8th in both races.

qualified 9th?? Expected to start higher but didnt.

sprint race. Lost a position off the line as I had a high 1. gear and 100% fuel. Caos in T1 and I was back in 9th. [Mo]Mikael was infront and I tried to attack at every oppertunity. He rolled his car in the corkscrew though and I was 8th. Up next was FEL and Kim battling it out. I benifitted from that and took 7th.

Main race I started 2nd. Off the line I was able to defend the inside into T1. BBO got good speed down the straight and overtook me. Now the next 4 laps I defended my position like crazy. Blocking off Kim like Tyrion said was funny but there was no way I was letting him have the inside. Tyrion passed Kim and was right on my arse. Saw his attack too late for a defensive action and let him pass. I saw Kim pit in, and I drove like mad to get a good lap and make my pitstop. I had to repair my car. It had some minor damage and some heavy damage no the rear it said. Thats a bit odd as I dont remember crashing into anyone or being bumped. And if I did get bumped from behind it wouldnt do heavy damage??
Very frustrating to sit in the pits and wait for that kinda crap.When I got out again Kim passed me and I was down to 10th place with the other 100% fuelers, yahh and Nylander, in front. filur was behind me but didnt close in, and I drove some pretty good lap times in the 2.21 range while watching the 2 in front battling it out.
Made a mistake at the end of the straight and filur passed me. Rolled over the line as #9.

I think if your suspension is too stiff, one of the wheels will lift slightly off the ground or atleast not get as much weight on it, when you drive with one set of wheels on the curb, resulting in the wheel spinning.

had a very good race and it went much as I expected. Qualifying was a bit sluggish, but I think I ran over the corkscrew troll as it didnt give me any trouble this time around.

started 5th on the starting grid for the sprint race. had an ok start and kept my position. Had a great battle with filur and I struggled to keep him behind me. On some parts of the track he was faster than me so I had to drive some defensive lines. He bumped me one time and sent my slightly into the grass but as the gentleman he is he let me past him again :up: Tyrion forfeited the race and I moved up to cross the finish line in 4th place.

In the main race I once again started in 5th. filur got a bad start and I managed to get ahead. Got bumped in T1 and got shoved sideways through the turn, drifting sideways infront of alt+ctrl to move up a position Luckily noone got hurt during that incident. Passed Ant[uk] out of T2 and took 3rd. After a few laps I got passed by JJ Nylander I think and then it got a bit lonely. On lap 7 I look in my mirrors and see a white car? who drives a white car?? Tyrion ?!???!?! He started last? Incredible effort Tyrion, that was unbelievable. You bumped me slightly in the hairpin I think but I didnt suffer. I decided to let you past as I had no chance of keeping you behind me. Would rather try and keep up and get some distance to the people behind me so I could keep my position after my pitstop. Pitted on lap 13 and got out right infront of alt+ctrl. We had a great fight the last couple of laps and I managed to keep 5th place to the finish line.

Ive watched a lot of sim movies mainly for GPL and Nascar 2003. There were a lot of crash movies available for those sims but for LFS its mainly promos, race summary or drift videos.

it should be noted that you have to do 1 complete flying lap before the ghost is recorded. that means the ghost will appear as you start lap 3 in hotlap mode.

300hp RB4 Rally in WRC trim would be awesome. I expect something like that with the rally pack

qualified 5th wich was a really nice surprise.
great sprint race. I was very consistent and was able to keep up with the front runners. Had a good fight with my team mate Mikael and was able to keep him behind me to the finish line.

lost internet connection just before the main race. Crazy scramble to get it to work again and made it just in time.

Decided to stray from my strategy for the main race and changed my tires and tire pressure. bad fecking idea illepall

Car ran horribly and I ran some very inconsistent lap times ranging from 1.46 to 1.5x. After my pitstop I reentered the race in 9th posistion just infront Kim Gripping and Richard Torp. Weird thing was that now my car oversteered like mad for no apparant reason?? Struggled with the car and did all I could to keep Kim behind me but in the end both of them got past me and I was happy the race was finally over.

4th and 11th..... note to self: NEVER CHANGE STRATEGY IN THE LAST MINUTE :banghead:
