I dunno lol @ what your test platform's specs are but yes, the expanding stuff was the slowest part of the install.

Said it earlier and saying it again, I really enjoy using W7. Most of my time in front of a computer is spent using Leopard or Tiger but W7 feels like a winner.

Here's a quick preview from a formal-portrait-shoot-gone-artsy-in-the-end shoot from today. It's pretty much straight from the camera but by monitor hadn't warmed up enough when I developed the RAW and I'm still unsure about the overall tonality so I might pull this down after a while... but hopefully you like it!

I've had a severe case of blue balls but that's a different kind of ball pain.

ADSL (and GSM subscription) from Saunalahti.

Connection is unlimited, unthrottled 2Mb in/1Mb out for 36€ per month. Pings ok and steady to European servers. Maybe one or two days in a year when I've had complete blackout but other than that it's good.

The GSM works as well.
