Quote from Töki (HUN) :Guys what have you done to this thread?

Put it out of its misery that's what.

I don't miss the old LFSforum, I miss visiting General discussion for a reason.

The no-patches-no-new-content era of LFS has made the Off-topic the only remaining connection to the community and let the demons run amok.

Oooo so how is the beta feeling? Downloading 1.44 Gb takes forever thru my hose.

Long time player if you can remember when only visa was supported and you sent money to Batterypark who at the time handled delivering S1 licenses for visaless players.

This is pretty much my first memories of LFS.

Quote from SidiousX :you can't really ask every person that could possibly be in the picture to stay still while the camera rotates...

...which is exactly why these kinds of things aren't really suited for anything that... moves. Which counts out somewhat a lot of things.

Guess I'm a better photographer than year before, that must be the best thing about 2009. Other than that, disappointments and bitter ends plentiful.

Quote from WIGGA :They're just cars. Do your School. Do some good Job and buy one. A Corvette isnt that expensive.

Used C6 LS3 427HP ('07-'08) in very good conditons with low milage = 30.000-40.000$

Z06 Used 55.000-65.000. New 75.000$

Maybe in your fairyland, pal. Prepare to drop 130k euros (nearly 200k U.S. pesos) for a 10-year-old Dodge Viper in Finland.

Quote from DeadWolfBones :Spanky, what's your flickr name again?

Quote from Jakg :Ok,

Sony A200 has an 18-70mm lens

Olympus E420SE has a 17.5-45 mm lens

Pentax Km Twin has a 18-55mm & 50-200mm lens

And the Pentax K-M has a 18-55 mm lens.

Opinions, please?

Killer entry level deal that does everything? Used Nikon D40 + Nikkor 18-200 VR. Back catalogue includes decades of Nikkor lenses that fit all modern bodies too.

Eeehhhyyeem.

I've been drowing in work (Don can testify) so not much photos lately. This 15 min rush job is from last night, details at my Flickr if someone's interested.

The client was happy.

Ugly car is ugly.

Read the proper post, the silly pedestrian protection system apparently blew up the bonnet and they have to replace the ECU and hinges too.

Quote from Taavi(EST) :May i ask what do you mean by post processing? Making it look more real, or going nuts, like this?

Or something in between? Maybe I'm just being stupid, but default raws look pretty much like the real thing appeared to my eye, while the default jpg's look damn fugly.

Thanks to the endless HDR jackassery and Dave Hill circle jerking that PP looks almost subtle.

Hope you like 'em. They're from the same morning/hallway as were the darker ones.

I was expecting ladies with huge thigh muscles but those passed the time just fine. Nice work. The super-wide-what's-inside-yer-helmet was cool.

Quote from Tomba(FIN) :Maybe a higher ISO was the point.. Imo it fits.

It was shot in a dark hallway and the girls gave an ultimatum beforehand: no light set up allowed whatsoever. So high ISO it was.

But thanks for the feedback. Nothing was planned that day and my framing and compositions were all over the place. Lessons learned in the process.

Quote from Stregone :Did you purposefully tag that image to attract all the weirdos on flickr? lol. I'm surprised it hasn't gotten any creepy comments yet.

Here's one from me. (of me)

Quote from DeadWolfBones :Some shots with my new Soviet lens, the Tair-11a 135/2.8. It's a big metal pre-set beast, with 20(!) aperture blades and a perfectly circular aperture at all stops.

Whoa @ Rusky lens tekhnoloky. How close does it focus? Could you take some portraits wide open and from as close as possible? Colour me curious...

Anyway.

Can't link the pic here straight but I got some new fine (coarse?) art at my Flickr so comments and critique are welcome. If you're offended by harmless n00dity, thou shalt not enter.
