There are no bad DSLRs on the market in the consumer price class - every single one of them will take great pictures.
Most of the differences are in ergonomics (personal preference) and feature sets (also personal preference what you value).
Best advice: Visit your local dealer and fondle the different cameras. The one that fits your hand the best is the one to take home.
Consider a low-end body only and pick a decent lens to go with it. You'll sacrifice some reach and versatility if you go with a fast-ish prime instead of the slow kit zoom but on the other hand big aperture prime let's you shoot in available light with better results.
And there we have a prime example what's wrong with present day games and game design. Tragically that incident was probably the only good thing to come out of Far Cry 2 and the millions of dollars invested in it.
EDIT: Watched the 'leaked gameplay' vid too. Dear God that game is made of concentrated failure.
Walther P22. It's Sig Sauer that manufactures the P228 and it's whole lot bigger caliber. No way of getting that caliber for his first gun in Finland unless he stole one.
Today's event was a tragedy but there's a silver lining.
Maybe now some bright politician sees a golden career honeypot in raising discussion and drawing people's attention to the lacking mental help options for teens - and more importantly, for boys. Finland is already saturated with safe houses and social safenets for girls but boys are completely forgotten in the background.
Though I was somewhat disappointed that they didn't include more silly details in the background, like a wheel with 17 paddles or PS2-controller hanging by the wire from the cockpit.
It's fun here though we ran out of cupcakes some time ago.
The slowish times before updates feel like chilling out with my buddies in an iHolocaustic summer camp waiting for the Allied to rescue us with new content. Sipping margaritas, playing beach volley and nekkid chicks are in no short supply.
Also possible rescue scenarios:
–Scawen throws in the towel after S2, busts the game wide open for modding and iRacing team hires him as a consultant how to make a proper racing sim.
–Cupcake shipment arrives.
–S2 arrives instead of cupcakes and brings new tracks, boatloads of more bumps and texture to old ones and proper damage.
–Cupcakes arrive but they are cherry flavoured.
Just play Arma. The controls feel the same if you move your poor soldier with a joystick, keyboard and mouse, gamepad, pedals, through your buddy via telephone yelling instructions or hitting the PC case with a log.
