thanks! I'm using icenhancer (dunno what version) with some tweaking of settings by myself, i tried to make it not exagerated, os it became realistic and pretty
I tried for a bit, it's really hard, I didn't survived for more than 10 minutes i'm reading the guide now to see if I can go further...
it would be AWESOME³³ if it was online with cooperative (or counteroperative, you choose)... like day-z
edit: ok, I survived a bit more, killed 3 guys, and I died because I touch one boat that was stopped... did everything again, killed those 3 guys, and died because one part of the wall broke and touched me... it's really annoying that you can't save your progress, and you can die by such stupid and bugged ways :/
sorry, I saw that the video was uploaded 07/07/12 and the last post in this topic was 06/07/12, so I didn't took time to open the last youtube link... didn't know that there was a non listed link uploaded one day before
I played 31 minutes of it today... I'm shocked with the low FPS...
My computer is a I7 2600k @ 3.9Ghz, GTX 560 TI 1gb...
and I got around 30FPS with graphics on ultra and 4xS AA (from nVidia inspector)
I had to play with 0AA, graphics on high/medium to get 45~70fps
The camera inside moves too much, it seems that the driver is not wearing any seatbelt, I had to play on the good camera, and that rev counter without number is too arcade
and I think this engine is done, I mean, it has more than 7 years by now!
just Shift + U and put the camera very far away, where you can see the whole track before exporting
I don't think it's textures fault, moving the camera etc is smooth too, but when I select some objects it freezes, and I try to render, it spend almost more time "Updating instances" than trully rendering...
One quick question, I exported blackwood with this 3d ripper some months ago, but I didn't made much thing because it was extremely slow on 3Ds max...
My computer is not weak, it's an I7 2600K @ 3.8ghz with 8gb ram, but almost everything I do on 3Ds with blackwood loaded, it freezes for some seconds...
did you guys made something to optimize the exported meshes, or you are just very patient?
now seriously, do your screenshots with F9/F10 open, it shows G forces, if you have force forward, it means you are not on top speed, because your car is still pushing forward it need to be 0.00G
