well it would be a dissapointment for me after scawen's announcement at beginning of year, it becoming a great lfs year. Well since i am no multiscreenuser i have had a ordinary lfs year then, certainly not a great one
But what cant be helped, cant be helped....carry on
Your LFS will auto alert you on new patches in the multiplayer lobby.
Only official patches that is. You can autodownload it ingame then.
Testpatches can give you more of an involvement in development but might not be compatible with official patches. Its never needed to download them. And you will need to do it manually in the testpatch section of this forum.
It's wise in that case to keep multiple installs (just copy LFS folder).
In defense of the average user he should know this when installing skins or setups. Its not as easy then as just look where the program. So its not easy and transparant. Maybe to new windows users, definetely not to old. No matter which good reasons there might have been for introducing it.
Especially since both kegesys and yourself are looking mainly from programmers view.
I dont have any issues and my current install is there. Usally all applications have their files their although most other sims (nkpro/iracing) use user/documents for configuration, settings, setups etc.
That is not exactly true if you count the possible companisation for taking part in official racing of max $40. And the content is also cheaper so that credit is more value.
So basically you get the credit if you participate.
It is still not a cheap experience compared to nkpro/LFS
Nothing wrong there Z16 has a lights flashing key (your 6) and a light stay on key the 3. So you just need another ignition key. This means 3 is reserved now and should not be assigned to something else.
