4 Gigs of GeiL DDR2-800 memory. My current board doesn't accept any higher speeds at the moment, but i'll be overclocking when i've got myself a new mb.
By the way, the eyes of the dragon heads light up. Yay!

NO. First time i've ever seen the clip of the song though, the gay cowboys and sailors seem to fit very well.

Sick. I don't know how, but apparently this guy has got 8 5870's (He's already bought 4 of another brand before, though he upgraded to the XFX overlocked edition, of which he bought another 4), and 2 or 3 5970's..

Just a tip, next time let the store you bought components from install everything for you. Or if you've bought it online, take it to a store or let someone who knows what he's doing install it for you. No offense intended.
Or i if you really want to do it on your own, study how to first, or ask around on the forum before you buy or install anything. Instead of asking while you're doing it and you ran into a problem. It'd save you alot of trouble.
Just saying.

Quote from obsolum :And which direction is that? Up? Well d'uh, the amount of licensed users isn't exactly going to go down now, is it?

For **** sake, is it really that hard to ****ing understand?! I mean, the overall activity in LFS is still very high, not only by S2 users, but also by demo users.
All i'm saying is, there really isn't a problem when it comes to the overall popularity of the game. And i myself think that won't change in the coming 10 years.

Quote from J@tko :Noo - it's a screenshot of the number of users online against time graph. Seeing as it's a 24h screenshot it doesn't show much

Crap  Well, what i meant to say was.. the amount of S2 users is still going in the right direction, the picture was just to back it up anyway.
That's why i don't think there's a reason as to why people are so damn pessimistic about LFS' ''future''.

Quote from Kalev EST :What is that pic supposed to prove? That there are more people online in the evenings than during the day? Yep, it proves that.

No, it proves that the amount of people who buy a license is going up.

Thanks, that's some really helpful information.
Though, i had my doubts about using exposure bias as i thought it would only make the picture worse, instead of improving it.
Specially when making a snow picture, as the snow already is really bright, i thought increasing that value would only make the frame even brighter.
Unfortunately i didn't get the chance to experiment while at the scene, due to friends who wanted to move on. I will certainly give it another go on my own though. That is, if it's going to stay this cold. I believe the snow is already melting again..

Were those comments aimed at my photo's, or was it still regarding electric eye's pictures? If so, thanks for the tip. The thing is, it was already getting dark when i decided to take a walk and take some pictures.
That's why most of the pictures i made are too dark, and have a blue shade over them, somehow. I tried fixing it in PS, without much succes, unfortunately.

Quote from imthebestracerthereis :What will LFS be in 10 years? A damn fine racing simulator. That's what.

Amen. And i think it'd be good to close the thread at that note, as i can hardly imagine threads like these are going to motivate the devs to keep on working on LFS.

Wow, how most of the people here judge the G27, while they haven't even driven with it. How the **** can you base your opinion on that?

I have at a Multimedia event, and I can clearly say that it's a lot smoother than the G25, and it feels a lot more realistic than the G25 which i have right next to me right now.
If you've ever driven a real (road) car, you can feel how fluent and easy the steering works. The G27 does exactly the same thing, there's not 1 trace of grind in the steering anymore.. which also makes you ''feel'' the car you're driving alot better. I also noticed that you can control the ffb alot better, because the grinding from the old G25 is gone.
The issue about the sequential shifter imo, isn't that much of an issue, as I myself usually only use the flappy paddles on the wheel. Unfortunately, i wasn't able to drive with the shifter at the event, so i can't make an opinion about it.
The reason why they didn't change anything to the pedals is beyond me, as they could have improved alot of little things about it.
Whenever the price drops low enough, i'd say: go for the G27.. as those little upgrades aren't worth the 100$ more. So for now, the G25 is the best bang for your buck.
