Okay issue fixed. The PSU's fan wasn't spinning for whatever reason and a loose wire may have been the culprit. All i did when i opened my PSU was take a gander and source the psu fan's connector base merely think about buying a new psu.
Put everything back together (cable management doing no end of pain on my fingers) and test ran the setup to see the psu fan working again. RAM temps dropped to high 70's due to changing my top fan's direction and possibly stopping the massive amounts of heat from the psu. Thanks bose.
Also mounted my PC on my desk with some old textbooks as platforms. Should help me with my body heat issue while racing
Okay, so i realized something in regards of my case and airflow. So i have a 120mm fan in the front sucking in the air and obviously the rear exhaust fan blowing it out. Then i realized my top fan. I have it sucking air in yet my ram is still in the high 90's F (with heat spreaders). Is my top fan (120mm) basically messing with the airflow of the front and exhaust fan? Surely the top fan is sucking in fresh cool air for the CPU heatsink to take in however am i correct? I'm getting low 90's F with the stock heatsink, so something good must be happening.
EDIT: Checked the inside whilst running. Case isn't exactly Arctic conditions, but it's cool. PSU However is really hot. I thought a 650w would be good enough for me. Guess i was wrong.
EDIT 2: Realized that there is almost zero clearance on the carpet and my case. This would probably be the reason for a overheating PSU?
At least lotus isn't dead last Fell asleep while looking at the live timing. Saw BMW take 1st and got excited, then Corvette took 1-2 and then a 458 took it a lap later. Went back to watching P1 and Audi were holding 1-2. So bascially... I fell asleep 30 minutes into D:
I'm using SNL's LeMans. It's a updated version of a NS2003 conversion and yes I'm doing the full 24 hours. I tweaked the AI abit so they are alot more forgiving in terms of room and actually notice you passing, so i'm safe with going B-Spec for a few hours and letting AI take over. Fastest i went was 3:37 and the effin Aston Martins (not AM-ones) were setting 3:17-3:18 lap times. Left the Pugs and Audi's in the dust.
Looking to be a great race for both me and the real thing however. Going to have my eyes glued to the live timing when qualifying starts.
Will be racing alongside in rfactor this weekend. Just finished a 2 hour quickie test stint to see how i fare against traffic and to give my arms abit of a workout. Had some questions however.
At about a hour and 20ish minutes i began to check all my temps and etc and noticed that my brake temperature were about 700-750 degrees Fahrenheit avg for the 2 laps i monitored. Normally they would go down to about low 500's before i reach the end of a straight. Is that normal? I know brakes can get real hot, but nearly 1100 degrees after only a hour of racing seems abit much even with the extreme braking zones Le Mans has. I was using the Acura P2 from Enduracers. Was going to go P1 and use 908 since they are my favs, but i may get abit too pressured with 3 Audi's breathing down my neck and weaving through traffic.
That is pretty annoying and half the time the person trying to connect ends up losing connection anyways and causes minor server lag.
Regardless just like all the tracks, it has to load the layout. So this really wouldn't matter
Wouldn't be realistic at all and if your driving right, your tires will beat optimum temp by the end of the first lap. Everyone starting with cold tires leaves it open for strategy.
1080p isn't overkill for projectors to say, but looks a tiny bit much better on Normal TV's/Monitors. If i can at reasonable FPS in terms of gaming then i'll run at 1600 and awhile back while i was visiting the parents, my father worked up a Home Theater project where he would make the frames and screens himself and buy used projectors off ebay.
None the less with a supposedly top of the line projector (I can't remember the name. He told me it's the "Bentley" of projectors and all i can remember of the name is "co" at the end), good blu-ray player, and movie 1080p can make a good difference even on a homemade screen.
Also is it me or does anyone who had or have ESPNHD notice good quality or no? Only reason i ask this is because i would normally walk by and he would be watching Drag racing as usual and it didn't seem all that great. May have just be my eyes.
This is what happens when men don't get what they want (scirocco). Become fussy, attack each other with sarcastic witts and magically arrive home in one piece after being drunk.
Well i ran at Cargame whilst it had 26 Cars on track and 30 people in the server for about a hour before a disconnect so it must be the server for me. I should be fully relocated and with fiber optic internet by race 3 however.

Just throwing it out there for future reference. Right now, no team invites. Trying to run my own.
If you have the money to compete at the top, then there's no reason not to. especially when the class isn't being dominated by a team.
The new championship sounds pretty interesting to pull off however, but doing it at Le Mans might be a bit messy. That would be 5 Classes and 6 if they continue with the Pro and Am. Prototype teams must be fuming with anger at the massive amount of traffic they're going to have to put up with.
