If I am informed correctly, some Mercedes cars have the hand brake in a pedal. Thus, a 4 pedal set is reasonable (more or less )

Erm. anyone took the time to read that?

Sorry if I seemed ignorant. This could definitely be helpful for somebody.

I used to have the same problem. It kept getting worse until one of the pedals stopped working at all. That forced me to open up the pedals for the first time. I cleaned them, did the standard "tape fix". That solved the problem.

I have a similiar problem:

I have a new DFP, plus an old one. I'd like to use the old set of pedals along with the new ones (to have a clutch). Problem is, where do I plug in the old pedals? Obviously the DFP only has room to input 1 set of pedals.
The game port? Wouldn't really fit. It has 9 pins, but the pedals' have 7 pins. Should I cut off the plug and stick a new one on? (with 9 pins). I need advice

To be honest I never visit that page. For the really important news there is www.liveforspeed.net For others there are the forums (this and RSC).

You've got a point there about the Porrari being sluggish, but please keep in mind what cars you're comparing it too. The Lx6 and RAC are VERY small weight/high powered cars. They're bound to be responsive and such.
The Porrari on the other hand... well yeah, it is heavy, and that's exactly what it feels like. My point is that if you compared the FZ50 to cars of similiar power/weight ratios I don't think it would seem so "boaty".

I used to be an LX6 maniac back in S1, I still enjoy it. But I've learned to enjoy the Porrari as well... all it takes is a good setup and a few laps. trust me, it's worth the try. I'm attaching my favourit set:

Quote from Woz : People ignore requests or mock people etc.

About ingoring: here's my experience. If there are 15 people on a serv, and you ask for a setup like "Can anyone share their ss" everyone thinks that someone else sent it to you (when in fact no one does). My advise: ask somebody particular

Happened to me many times. OH! And also sometimes it's hard to send a setup (find the right person in a huge list of 20 people) when you're going 270 in the F08.

Quote from Woz :DFP, Actlab Pro-pedals + H shifter here.

DFP is great wheel though never used the pedals so cant comment on those.

Indeed it is a great wheel. I have it too, but I'm forced to use the pedals. They work fine for about 6 months, after that all hell breaks loose. I'm thinking about buying Finnmotion pedals.

Quote from ORION :It's the FX50 and thus it shall have the FZ50 engine

Wrong. It's a Porrari, thus it shall have a Porrari engine
