I do think this needs fixed. Its so annoying that's when just slowing down a bit in LFS the lights never come on. But about the American car thing that's not really true,my VW golf light comes on before any slowing down happens so its not something they add in for the yanks

Well in the serverr setup file there is a line that says

/start=

Well you can change this all around, like start= finish means the grid is setup for the ranks people finnished in the last race. Start= random means its in a random order. Start= reverse means its the other way around from what you finnished in last race (if you came first then you start at end of grid). Start= fixed might mean you can set it yourself (before race)

This all might be wrong but I got it from WWW.LFS.net/host.htm

I'm sure it does and it will end up being something really simple. I just have no clue as I'm cheap and use a 7 year old PC to play LFS

If they do this they should do it when s3 comes out. New players get s3 for the price of s2. Maybe when s3 comes out we should all pitch in and try and do some marketing

thanks, fair enough but last time i checked there were a few servers that have over 20 people. when i was hosting LsC it would usually have a full grid. best of luck and hopefully i can try your service out some day

You must be 100% stupid , how in hell will "force mode" help increase your lap times ????? What you can magically see the ground or is it the crazy bars that move around when you move your wheel around.

Remote activated means you can view the server on LFS remote (look it up on the main site) and tc is just a name of a cruise server. And to your other question yes there are cruise servers with open config

I vote yes but I don't think that it's not top of the "things to do" list.

Ask me this question the same time last year (or a few months ago) and I would have said no.

Just after new year I bought my iMac (first mac) and I loved it. Heck you can play lfs on it with wine but it would be nice to not need that. Just on Friday I just bought a mbp to replace my crappy HP laptop that's made life hell over te last year. Apple and OSX just makes everything easy. Like as everythings syncs nice and easy. I.e I buy a song on my iPhone and then it will appear on my iPad and mac. It's just such a smooth OS and it's exclusive as you can't install it on your normal pc

fair enough but i had trouble running a demo server (15 slots) with a 5 meg connection as insims wont help. but if it works for you an you can prove that your good then of course people will try you out

can you give us a idea of what cruise insim your using? because without knowing the base for your insim no one can really help

What would happen when you spec another driver? Would you see their total driven distance?

The RAC does have a trip counter, but it resets when you spec another driver (or change views), iirc.

I do aggree with you as in no point as we can see this on lfsworld but about the spec thing , if it was added it can be like fuel readings and it doesn't brodcast it to other drivers
