i wouldn't drive it on roads anyways, a 400+ hp rwd impreza dezigned to go sideways on public streets on slick tyres...

Quote from DevilDare :Exactly... Said it last night...

Find it difficult to understand how the guys on Driftworks are still wondering why the thing is still not out of fuel, as if a petrol station is the only way to fill up...

Edit - Apparently the video is not from this morning, but rather from last night. So god knows where its by now...

petrol station ?? the cars running higher octane fuel im sure ( racing fuel ?? ) so its deffo in a shed/garage by now.

but then again... you could always fill up a jerry can or two with some and fill it up that way.

Quote from P5YcHoM4N :The Ford Escort RS2000 4x4 is transverse and it has a 40F/60R split. It is all down to the gearbox and differentials used.

agreed, imho all lfs cars are like 80's korean cars, Minimal features with unreliable performance.

smart phones aren't " smart " anymore and it annoys me, i bought another nokia n97 sealed in the box for 45 euro today, deal or what ??

suck it iphone 3g/3gs owners...

( my previous one lost its menu button after a long night of drinking... Strangely the seemingly weak screen never broke, no real issues to report and doesn't drink your Data like other OS's do; seriously.... why do you think service providers are giving such good deals ?? )

oh no he didn't !!

Quote from dadge :aye. ideally, i'd love to get 3x32" tv/monitors. but you're looking at close to £1000 for the 3 of them. projectors are becoming really affordable too. could be worth a look (no bezels to worry about).

Peats had 37" sony LED's for just under 400 quid, i gots me one for the Gf's family but by the time i went back ( litterally within 2 hours ) they where all gone....

and Frankly im not surprised... would be overkill though.

Quote from BlueFlame :I think you meant, if the police cam DOESN'T pick the reg plate up. Then expect a tug, if the ANPR reads it as per usual then they probably won't notice at all.

pardon me good sir but the T button is missing at the moment.

they are illigal, if the police camera can ID them for example then yes, expect a tug. Generally ?? nah you should be cool unless attention is payed to them

Quote from morpha :Yeah I don't know what the big deal is either, it's a diesel "GLOF", nobody wants that anyway regardless of what colour the engine cover is
I'm not saying it's not a good vehicle, but it's freakishly heavy, quite big (for what is supposed to be a hot hatch) and as ColeusRattus already stated, not that cheap to run (here, anyway).

A friend of mine shares a Mk5 1.9 TDI with his older brother and they're paying ~1750€/year insurance + taxes for it. To put that into perspective, I'm paying ~2050€/year for my Supra.

your saving 300 per annum on insurance but surely the golf does better mpg and loses that advantage on petrol costs ?

Quote from S14 DRIFT :Before I started driving or hanging around with people who have cars I'd have agreed with you, however most of the people nowadays drive at or below the speed limit (mostly because of their cars with coilover suspension) and sit fairly peacefully in a carpark (sometimes with loud music but cmon..) and mind their own business.

Obviously you have the odd cock but I've seen more older drivers driving far more aggresively than I have younger drivers.

Also +1 Jack's comment about not having to drive with Mrs. Kitchen.

not here, tbh its more the people who should have more sense are the ones being the idiot.... i mean, a 1.8t audi a4 for example, its an ok car, does a bit of speed and generally looks rather decent ( by drug dealer standards )

every c__t of a driver i know has one or a posh golf( a3 ) and thinks their a racing legend by doing 60+ in a 30 zone.

fputher more

i often also have to drive pitch black b roads home and tbh.... at 3 in the morning, the last thing i need is this retards ripping up behind me with either dodgy lights or cheap " HID " lights.... so either im blind or i cant see em. If that was not bad enough, dadge or other paddys here can tell you how tight some of the roads are yet they do their best to over take me.... i mean, Jesus.... its dark, wet and tight.... Why bother ?

meanwhile the ricer in his civic is doing 17 in a 30 trying his best not to curb his 17" 80$ wolfrace alloys he spray canned chrome <<==== a regular ocourance... ive no bother taking their money; trollface.jpg

Quote from ColeusRattus :l.

Which remembers me of a schoolmate of mine. He bough quite a run down Mk3 Golf D with 64 bhp. Over the years, he spend so much money on making it look like a sportscar that he could've bought a proper car if he just had saved the money...

thats the thing though, most can't save their money and asuch.... deserve what the get.... which is a ripped off next to nothing.

It's as if you put a bent tube behind the fan, which directed the air around 180 degees (which would push the cart along) only much less efficient as most of the air leaks around the side.

indeed, and if you had one of them wind up motors ( form the toys when your a kid ) you would have a troll hybrid !

Quote from P5YcHoM4N :Depends which car. My last three, Vauxhall Omega, Ford Escort and Toyota Hilux Surf (4Runner), 2 cup holders between them and they all came with the Surf. In fact, thinking about it, of all of the childhood cars, the only one that did have cup holders was a LDV Convoy Minibus.

i keep getting volvos and saabs which get scrapped but theirs so much space in them that every little cubby hole could hold your coke/redbull etc

also leather seats and other selling factors
