Thanks I was going to make a video about the FM Autocross Servers, but with 30-odd cars crossing paths and flying over each other it's difficult to know which 'story' to follow and it's even harder planning camera angles as you don't know where the cars are going to go. So I hope someone more skilled will make a movie of that
Thanks guys, it's always good to get positive comments!
Smurfen: Your skin kicks arse, I always use it when I drive the XRT.
CSU: You were driving the blue RB4 if I remember right..? The way you look over your shoulder to check what's behind you then put it in reverse anyway made me laugh as I sailed past in my unscathed FXO
Here's a shiny new video from the Bug Test Server on one of those days where everything that could go wrong, did go wrong over four races of clean racing and easily avoidable crashes:
See what happens when you shift into reverse at 120mph
Wonder how two RB4s manage to spin out at the same corner at the same time and end up in the same wall
Learn not to slipstream too closely as the guy in front may slam on his brakes at any time...
The video was edited in Sony Vegas 7. All feedback, opinions and comments are very welcome! The YouTube quality is awful as usual, it pretty much destroyed the glow and colour balancing in the first couple of scenes...
Also on my YouTube profile are FWDrifting and FOX Hunts GTR- two videos that have been up for a while but I haven't posted here, so feel free to offer a comment/opinion on those too.
The reason people don't talk about illegal downloads here is because the owners of the forum can be a target for lawyers if they allow discussion of such things.
Quite right. About time people started thinking about REAL issues instead of "the earth may or may not heat up in a few thousand years and it may or may not be down to us". Also finding a cheap, alternative fuel to oil will keep the environmentalists happy.
Ah, but at least the site isn't biased against one particular group of people- no matter what your colour or nationality is, somewhere on that site is a joke about you. It's quite balanced
Blas89: And there I was thinking I was the only one who liked the Dale Earnhardt jokes...
I found this site on my travels across t'internet- anyone who's familiar with b3ta.com may know this site. Basically, people post their sick jokes and if they're lucky their jokes get published in the next "Bumper b3ta Book of Sick Jokes".
Some of the jokes are on the boundaries of bad taste, but that depends how easily offended you are. Personally, the site appeals to my sense of humour and I find it hilarious.
They WERE considering this, but abandoned the idea. GT HD is now just a Prologue for GT5, which should have all the cars on the disc. Obviously, there will be extras after release which will probably be pay-for.
Even Head-Fi's members couldn't find a real negative point with these and they seem to be the best choice out of these, the Sonys and the Grado/Alessandros
Thanks for the advice everyone has given (esp. Bob for answering my Grado questions), it's been very helpful in making my choice. And I've learnt a lot about headphones in the process.
A mechanically-minded friend of mine is currently making an old Ford Anglia into a dragstrip car... New brakes, suspension, gearbox etc and is planning to put a V8 in it. And of course, shiny wheels and a respray.
