You can't expect to be given everything you want for free just because you don't have much or any money and making comments like make it free or die is just silly and childish. Is having S1 that important to you?
um yes I know but forget not everyone else does. It's habit for me and I forget to add the little stuff others need to know and kick button only works if the majority click it. If you get a problem child and his friends on there, they can hold up the vote so it won't work.
press shift control so you see their real nick.... then right click on it so it comes up in the text box... use arrow keys to backspace to the front of their nick... type /kick then a space... hit enter and say bye. For bans you do the same but you also need to add a space and number after their nick for how many days the ban is for. 1 is normally good for a temporary timeout. Doing it this way also saves having to try to figure out the funny characters some nicks have.

edit: okay the above works for S2. I missed the demo server part sorry. In demo it works sort of the same. Right click on their nick... it'll come up in a text box... again use arrow keys to backspace to the front of it type /kick or /ban then a space. Hit enter and they should vanish quick. You have to use the arrow keys to space back before the nick. Using backspace only will erase text. lol Blonde moment. Ty Moonclaw for pointing out my mistake.
I remember Dappa and P5YcH0M4N both being on our servers. One yesterday the other today. I think when P5YcH0M4N joined tempers were already starting to run high because we had a couple on the server who decided it was more fun to park on the track or spin, rather than race. It got to be too many big cars on a small track. That's why I changed to a bigger one and everything calmed down.
Dappa joined us today and was having trouble seeing his skin I believe. He asked for help sorting it but the race had just started so I asked him 2 times to wait until after the race to ask because it's hard to monitor a big race and give the proper attention he needed to help him out. I blame it on the blonde braincell. I'm not sure what server you were banned off because from what I saw there was no reason to ban you because of your driving.
I'm sorry you both encountered some negativeness so early into your lfs experience but I can promise you that if you give it a bit more time... you'll find a whole new exciting world in the lfs community.
I monitor our servers 4 to sometimes 16 hours in a single day so I've met loads of racers from all over... all ages... all different driving skill levels. The best part about lfs is there's a place for everyone. Now you have to stick around so we can find your place.
I've been an IRCop for about 5 years now and I won't say if I agree or disagree with the #liveforspeed OPs ban decisions. The point is if I invite you to my house and you don't like the music I play or food I offer... feel free to leave. Nobody is making you stay there. It's their 'house' their rules. If you don't want to follow them then you deal with the decisions they make to have you leave.
If you think their rules are a bit 'harsh'... consider this. I've joined channels before where anyone can be banned for saying coffee, tea, or coke.
Do I have anything against Vrooom or Zeeall... nope not at all, I think they're both very nice. It's not my house though and not my rules.
The password issues from dlareg come from having that account passed out by one demo team that I know of. There's a second account that was also being shared on S1. The second account belonged to someone I used to race with loads so when I saw it join our server I assumed it was him. Both of those accounts have each been used by at least 14 different people from all over the world at last count.
Eza was there when I did my own little investigating of them months ago. When one of the two nicks joined our server I'd ask how long they had the account. Most of the replies were 1 -2 days up to 2 weeks. One was even an Aussie girl. The team on demo servers willingly shares the accounts with it's members and friends. Both accounts were reported to the devs but there's really not much that can be done if the accounts were originally being shared on purpose by the owners. I asked the Aussie girl who gave it to her and she gave me the guy's nick.
I'm on lfs loads but watch the nick dlareg... it's on almost 24/7... or at least it was, along with the second nick. It was either being shared or there's 2 seriously hardcore LFSers out there.
