Our servers are up 24/7 Always have been, always will be if it's within my powers to make sure.
[dSRC] Battle Grounds #1 runs the combos for our Midweek Challenge Cup races that are open to all. no signup needed. Feel free to join and train for the following week's race. Next week, Nov. 8, we're running WE1R with FOX. More info here.
#2 - 4 run various tracks and combos and on occasion are loaned out for other events if needed.
#5 is an S1 server to help encourage S1 drivers to come back to the LFS community... and last but not least the dSRC Training Grounds is hosted by Bladerunner for his daughter and others just starting out in lfs to train on.
Are you hitting on Bladey? lol He's my teamie and very married. He does have a daughter who races LFS though but we keep her under lock and key.
now to unhijack this
@ TAA - You've always been a total sweetheart and sadly those are the people that tend to get taken advantage of. Personally, I'd say don't change who you are because other people get a bit selfish or greedy. If it's the same people that are taking advantage of you... then you have to decide is your kindness to them worth the stress and sadness it causes you. Start with one and learn to tell them no sometimes and explain you're very busy and can't do it that one time. It'll get easier to say no and for them to accept it without causing you even more hassles.
With your girlfriend... did it upset you more you didn't get to have a few more drinks than you did... or the fact you feel she didn't respect you enough to let you know she didn't need a ride? I'm guessing the 2nd one and if that's the case... a "honey I love you, but" conversation may be in order. You know her and probably how she'll react better than I will, but if she cares (and I can't see how she wouldn't ) then she'll take your feelings into consideration before she leaves you 'hanging' again.
That's easy, give your mom a Christmas wish list with nothing but Barbie stuff on it. If your dad shows up with a worried look on his face... you're male.
There's nothing wrong with being nice, even overly nice... you just have to be careful when it gets to extremes. Like some of the others have already said... don't make yourself miserable trying to please others. (been there done that ) It really is okay to say no.
You don't have to be rude about it or feel guilty you did it. If they can't accept your no, they are the ones being rude. A simple "no I'm sorry I can't" should do. If they give you grief, smile and walk away.
Personally I think the world needs more people like you.
One thing the internet does provide that real life doesn't, is the option to 'click' away your troubles. Have you ever had someone scolding you and you wished you had a magic volume button you could mute them with for a bit?
If someone's words bother you then simply 'click' them away to the land of ignore. Don't let it ruin your day.
I do sort of like SamH does. If people want a restart I ask the leaders first if it's okay.
If it's a full grid and at least 50% of the grid has crashed, I ask the leaders if we may have a restart. If it's much over 50% I apologize and force a restart. It all depends how many laps into the race it happens also.
Most leaders are happy I at least asked and give their vote to restart willingly and with a smile.
Replays and stats can now be found in the link Greedy gave above. Thanks for joining us tonight guys. Well done on your races.
Also I'd like to say sorry to sccc|J.Pickard for not seeing his PM here sooner so he wasn't able to rejoin to race with us. I hope you come next week to join us. The sccc invasion keeps everyone on their toes.
aww the drug part set aside... I don't think KiDCoDEa meant it in an offensive way. I think it's meant more that after all the stress and stuff of doing lfs the devs maybe get a bit frizzled. As a side note though, omg I hope we don't stress them that much. Some of those pics are just a bit scary.
This made me giggle. lol I can just imagine you sitting there with a 'should I, shouldn't I' debate going on with yourself only to give in and grrrrrrr at the posts.
Aww it's really very simple, if it bothers you that much, just put him on ignore and you'll never have to see his posts again. Problem solved, life will be all happy again. If sometime down the line you get curious to see how he's improved... you can always peek in and see.
If you're really so concerned about how he posts and the effort he puts into them, I'm sure you can find a more constructive way of going about helping him not do it. I highly doubt publicly insulting him will change a thing.
You guys complain about all the spam and negative posts on the forums, and yet here you are again, making fun of faster111 because of spelling mistakes. I see loads of others doing the same, yet you seem to keep choosing him to bully.
