Probably nothing, but Alonso's car is undergoing another 'deflection test' which would indicate it failed the first time around, according the BBC's Gary Anderson, hope not though - would be a shame for Alonso to win a home victory.
He was fouled by Rafael and rolled around as if he was severely injured, as you can see he is laughing on the ground about it. Rafael was given a straight red for it.
Although a Chelsea fan myself, I'm pretty appalled at some of our players this year, kicking a ball boy, laughing at pretending to be fouled, body checking a 18 year old despite being 4 - 0 ahead in a FA cup tie. Hopefully José can come back and fix it!
Because the F4 is MSV and BRDC and is basically based on the Formula Palmer Audi Palmer ran a few years ago. It has nothing to do with FOX, FOX is very similar to an F3 or Formula Renault - not an F4.
He's been testing daily in the Mercedes F1 sim recently, I really hope he can get a drive with a supplied team such as Force India but I don't obviously know the extent to which his hand is hampering him in a single seater.
Yeah Marus drives with wheel but can be basically just as fast with mouse. I think we've already gone over the whole e-brake issue years ago when Arrechee and Pecholobo started using it and I guess it's acceptable. Personally I find it takes a long time to get used to almost outbraking yourself and then hitting the e-brake. I think it's fine to use it in road cars, its when you watch some BF1 wrs and they're using the handbrake in that.. then it starts to be a little silly.
First of all thank you for everyone who commented on our pace - it wasn't too bad was it heh! Secondly, many congratulations to ineX you drove a very mature race and deserved the championship as you were the best team on the grid for most of the season
Our race was pretty tough, mistakes, technical problems, having to deal with server issues although that's the same for everyone. I think, once Genuine went out we over-drove a bit, well me and Sean certainly did - getting engine damage and ultimately going into the gravel and losing 57 seconds. It's a shame for sure, but we're still very proud of where we have come compared to the start of the season, with 3 second places towards the end of the season and finishing 2nd in the championship after a difficult start to the season is just amazing for us. Plus bringing on many of the drivers in Am (and Arttu) to the point where they can dominate the race in that class and even challenge for overall podium really does make us proud. Many congratulations to Am for their win in class, shame about missing out on 3rd place but hey - great race!
We'll come back stronger than ever like we always do and it'll be great to come back in a seasons' time and fight for championships - it's taken 2 years but I think we're ready now. So we'll see you in GT2ws and hopefully next season GT1ws!
A couple of shout outs to some people who really went the extra mile this round in Vires, Pierre for spending a ridiculous amount of time making two different setups for the two cars, Luki for working 12 hours straight with me on strategy and keeping a cool head to monitor strategy of ineX and make sure we were not going to lose time! Morgan, for planning everything and, despite working at Silverstone since Thursday, keeping contact to make sure everything was going smoothly. Finally, Jere for driving despite a "remote glitch" which froze his arbs and made him unable to change them for a large amount of his stint, and to Arco for playing engineer for the Am car and dealing with any issue the car had
See you soon - and thank you very much NDR for setting up the league / stream and I hope, despite recent issues with some members of the community we can, as a community, rise above them and continue to have our fun
Don't think so - with the amount of downforce they run they're going to be susceptible to tyre wear issues and Vettel is complaining his tyres last 5 - 6 turns which when you watch him drive seems legit. They also had to remove some upgrades they had brought to China, IIRC something to do with barge boards, which could be the reason they have dropped off the pace a little.
I am pretty confident in her to reach high single seater categories but I will believe it when I see it that she's as quick in cars consistently as she is in Karts. Red Bull does seem to have a nice amount of drivers to funnel into F1 in the next coming years with Da Costa, Kyvat, Blomqvist etc.
I'm not against a woman getting into F1 so long as they get there because they are one of the 24 best drivers in the world, not because they are a woman in motorsport which is sadly the way people like Alice Powell are going about it. Seen her in karting, she is for sure a very big talent - but it will be interesting to see how she develops over time as it's usually the trend with some drivers that they tail off once they get their big break.
