It's funny how the same group of people try to make out as if we made the program and used it for own personal gain - which is wrong. We came across te program, handed it over to the Devs and when asked other teams a surprising amount of them had either heard of it or indeed had it already (I won't say who). Then once we handed it over to Devs / active moderators I noticed the same group of people were always running very similar looking setups, checked an yep you guessed it they were running identical setups to other teams, which was strange.

You try to make out as if Vires are using this as an advantage? Well we've been different on setups ever since Morgan arrived here and even before that our setups were very different because we had no idea what we were doing. And yes I know you've said you can check strategy and all that shit but quite honestly as LFS stands atm we barely have the motivation to drive let alone harvest setups as you say we do and check them all.

It's also pretty funny how the group claiming we have it are actually the very same group we got it from in the first place - go figure eh? Stop being so naive and playing innocent.

Anyway all this has shown is how little Devs seem to care about something integral to LFS and thats really showed us there is no future here for many teams will be going to other sims in the next few months.

Besides, there are more than one way of getting a lot of setups from top teams.

You say that Joonas however we deleted it, well "we" but Jesse clearly didn't. Also, you say top teams have it and then say vires have it? Are we now a top team? You need to make your mind up - make your mind up.

Ofc Vortex technically isn't a team is it

Handed it to Devs, didn't even get a reply - shows how much they care for the competitive side of LFS. Dont you think that if we wanted to use it for our own benefit we would have kept it a secret forever? But we've been here before. Its Easter holidays and the kids have nothing better to do I guess!

Of course I'm feeding the troll here because you clearly have nothing better todo than post lies when you have no evidence to back it up, I'll leave it at that.

Quote from PMD9409 :He didn't, unless you're thinking that Williams had a fast car last year.

Won a race - had plenty of opportunities to be on the podium had they not had the catastrophe that is Maldonado and the mediocre Senna they could have reached those opportunities.

Didn't see this in Sky or BBC coverage Incredibly stupid from Webber, despite what happened.

Or he was getting offline to collect marbles like the car immediately after Vettel..

Quote from amp88 :...yes, and the fact that Hamilton did so much to come back past Rosberg (i.e. burned more of the fuel he was already short on because of his earlier stint(s)) was a major contributing factor to them driving home seconds off the pace. Goes to show Hamilton's short-term thinking multiple times in the race, and the team shouldn't have punished Rosberg for that.

Brawn actually said post race that had both of them continued to pass and repass neither would have made it to the finish, you saw Rosberg brake in 6th and not shift down until the apex - they were both saving fuel: plus the risk of the two crashing into eachother.

Laughable suggestion from John Watson that Red Bull should suspend Vettel btw, I agree he broke team protocol and rules but there is 0 chance they will suspend him.

Quote from BlueFlame :Well eitherway Chilton is quite blatently shit. Worse (pace-wise) than Maldonado.

Actually I rate Maldonado quite highly - GP2 Champion and Barcelona winner. But Chilton for me has always been a bit of a "joke" amongst UK racers - everyone knows he has a very wealthy family and has worked his way up pretty regardless of his results. He, in my mind, is now along the same lines as Gonzales who has just been "recruited" by Marussia despite hardly scoring a single point in 3 years of GP2.

Feel very sorry for Otto again - one day luck won't drag you down!

For our race, we gambled with setup a little bit and couldn't afford huge damage and we knew that. Nevertheless, we had a very bad first stint with contact with other cars etc which wasn't really avoidable and so we were on the back foot, and a lap down after the first hour. Luckily we managed to play with strategy a little and get the lap back. Sucks we decided to repair damage around the 3h mark, we could have done another stint with it and if we had we could have had a better result - but was good to have a solid position finish after such a difficult race for us + we knew this would be our weakest round really as none of us like South City

Congratulations to SAVAGE for the race win - don't think about the race being cut short you won that race fair and square well done guys! Such a shame Joonas timed out in T1, cost vortex the lead, although it did help you out with engine damage

Can't wait for some more breathing space at Aston so see you all there thanks again to NDR for the event and just crappy luck again with the server.

Session of Incident: Race
MPR Timecode -OR- UTC Time of Incident: 24:25:.54
Lap and Location of Incident: 15, Sector 3
Your Car Number: 02
Other Car(s) Involved: 10
Brief Description of Incident: Maddee goes to the outside entering the braking zone and turns in late leaving plenty of room. #10 outbrakes himself and Maddee has to take evasive action (eventually spinning himself) to avoid contact with 10 who is suddenly 3 car widths away from the apex.

Session of Incident: Race
MPR Timecode -OR- UTC Time of Incident: 48:54:00
Lap and Location of Incident: End of lap 31 start of lap 32.
Your Car Number: 02
Other Car(s) Involved: 10
Brief Description of Incident: 10 again does not leave sufficient room and turns left into Maddee when he is fully alongside, causing a collision that sends Maddee into the wall and causing substantial enough damage to warrant a repair in the pitstop.

Quote from Stig209 :But isn't McLaren and Marussia doing co-operation? And apparently Withmarsh is doing everything he can to keep Kovalainen at F1. So in that wise it's not so clear that Bianchi would become the second driver of Marussia.

They only use aero tunnel and it isn't exactly a massive deal between the two teams, sure but Whitmarsh only has so much influence. At the end of the day, Coswerth have gone into administration and in an engine geared season in 2014 they need a proper supplier - the maths adds up as I explained in my previous post.

Not that I don't want to see Heikki in F1 I just think it's best to take Bianchi for Marrussia.

Well Hamilton's average over his run was 1second slower than webber however Hamilton did a lap nearly 2 seconds faster than Webber's fastest so I guess you're right. Interesting to hear some drivers describe the new pirellis as 'coliflour' basically lasting a lap and then massive graining.

Ben Anderson also said that the RBR looked planted as usual and the McLaren has massive handling issues at the front end as does the Ferrari with its rear. Lotus and Merc looking best over a race sim at the moment tho.

Yeah the Bianchi move seems political, he's Ferrari, Marussia want a new engine supplier for 2014, Ferrari want to supply a 3rd team and Force India look set to sign a 3 year deal with Mercedes (if that hasn't happened already). So if Bianchi lands the drive I'm guessing it will be to keep Ferrari happy. Although apparently Kovalainen has had a seat fitting and will drive on Saturday.
