Its this kind of elitist behaviour which makes many people laugh at you Niki. You are not above anyone so stop acting like you are, and if I were you I would send a mailshot to the majority of the teams on the grid saying sorry for crashing into their drivers throughout your stints.
For the sake of having a normal facing track on the calendar I propose 6 hours o AS4 I mean when was the last time an endurance league visited this awesome track? It's a test for all cars and I would defo prefer it over AS5 or even AS3 (what no thanks!)
Also FE3r would be a disaster for all cars cos of chicanes, I say Fe3 as its a competitive track for all cars and a good challenge ( maybe wind? :o )
Ky2r much better than Ky2, and last year We1r was one of the most fun races for me last year both for the setup and driving - do irony are why it's left out but I'm sure everyone will disagree! FE3 is pretty fun with GT3 and maybe AS4? SO4r beats SO5r any day.
Just please for the love of god no open configs with horrendous layouts they were god awful last year. As for race length would be nice I have 5 same length races and 1 longer race double points similar to 24 hours MoE of previous years.
We must also remember that Josh has done all this amazing work off his own back and isnt paid for it. He owes nothing to anyone and it's up to him when he wants to add or not the database. Personally I'm glad it was just there in the rest place and I think the community owes him at least a little patience.
7 people DNF and 5 drivers left are in pathetically slow cars - but hats off to Vettel he drove a car setup to overtake and overtook people. Kimi had me in fits most of race with his engineer banter.
One more comment on the Vettel situation, if a car is DSQ from qualifying how is it fair to then let the team change most of the car (downforce levels, gear ratios, tyre compound) before the race? It's not a penalty if you allow the team to do that. But anyway, the Vettel vs Button fight was great to watch - no doubt the boy can drive, and again Alonso did great.
Don't really know what was up with Webber today, seemed to turn GROS style on after lap 2 but anyway. 10 points, 2 races - Finger is gonna win I bet.
EDIT: Fully respect Hamiltons decision to leave McLaren, too many mistakes for such a professional team - would love to see a statistic of how many points cock-ups have cost Lewis.
Vettel has a car that can win races by up to 20 seconds - I really don't see how him starting from the back in a car that is capable of that is going to prove he is an amazing driver. He needs to start from the back in a Ferrari, or drive in a car other than Red Bull without Newey and then we can compare.
Hamilton's penalty was due to saving fuel - Vettel's issue seems to be a mechanical failure. But still hopefully a penalty for him for having to change something on rear of car.
From what I heared it looked great fun! I hope to be there next round as I am away this weekend with family.
From previous experience in other threads nothing is won from constantly flaming one another so as Joe said lets relax and if u got an issue then that's why the protest threads are there.
Bravo - but please, dear Rony, don't patronise me.
You take my words into wrong context, when I say half the field was out I meant that enough people wanted a retry and voted enough to warrant a restart which was then cancelled by Airio, dear Rony.
Despite all this I feel a victim, as a light touch with one other car which was triggered by lag has suddenly been turned into a calus and malicious act of violence towards everyone. Pathetic to be honest but it's your league so do as you please.
You really do make me laugh! For someone who 'drives for fun' you sure as hell moan A LOT.
About the voting to restart, well half the grid was out because of a lag hit and everyone wanted a restart, so I dont see the problem? We were taking it seriously, some more than others see Niki's previous and future ranting posts, and a restart would have been the best for us all.
Anyway was fun, and I was glad that I did so well in my first FXR race omg ain't I pro please give me congratulations!
