I am along the same lines as Fram, with half my roster being developing drivers and more often than not it being easier to field an Am car in GT2WS I am always looking for leagues I can enter those drivers in for experience - it's the only way they will improve. However, this is very difficult with no leagues that match their level to train in. Whilst I admit GTAL will not come back, something along the same lines as it should return. Prehaps if we are going to go down the road car endu route, we could try some form of GTAL-esqe road car league to see the amount of interest before an MoE style league later in the year. I would love to see a GT1WS and GT2WS on the calender, just because I know that some people feel GT2 is "below" them and do not race them, but race GT1 a lot. I think that multi class GTR leagues is definitely a big no as it dilutes racing and reduces grids, but I cant see why GT1WS and GT2WS wont enjoy success.

Quote from DeadWolfBones :Good luck filling a grid for the GT1WS...

I don't understand why people are so pessimistic and negative, you are bored of LFS we get it, doesnt necessarily mean its popular opinion. Sure you've web around since the dawn of time and have seen it all ad done it all, but I have never competed in GT1 at top level and without a top league I never will. I believe there will be equal demand for GT1 as the sister series. I like the idea of Pro and Am series which I think had proved successful this year so maybe we should stick with that.

Liking the idea of all the above. I think a NDR F1 series could be good, there are big grids in OWRL this year but I think maybe you guys could make it even better. The GT1 and GT2 world series I think is a very good replacement for IGTC and MoE. Looks great guys!

I think the Ferrari was bad initially but now the media is glorifying him for something that isn't true anymore - I mean he was able to fend off and pull away from Red Bull at the beginning on worse tyres. And the pace from Massa shows that it is competitive. In other news, McLaren are seriously lacking at the moment.

Brief Description of Incident: Car #14 refuses to move over for both me and other leading cars resulting in multiple seconds lost, I believe Vortex also had the same issue a lap later. This is not the first time this season they have done this and I am getting tired of it.

Quote from Storm_Cloud :You have to adjust the way you drive according to those you are driving against. If Alonso or Webber had been trying to pass Hamilton then there probably would not have been a problem. Hamilton knows that Maldonado is a bit of a head case but gave no leeway.

And by that theory a driver should go into F1 and earn the reputation of "head case" so that people simply jump out of the way? No. Regardless of who you are racing against, there isn't much you can do if the driver you are racing against decides to go off the track and hit you. In my opinion, Maldonado had decided to hit Hamilton regardless but was caught out by the bottoming out and hit his wheel instead of the side body.

In all honesty if we follow the trend and learn to pass and keep possession like every other team then we can be good. Too many times did we end up in a dangerous position only for Young, Rooney or Milner to give it away either in possession or from a bad pass. Although everyone thinks he is god Rooney was unfit and should not have played, he had 2 major chances that I can't help but think Defoe or Welbeck would have taken. Hey-Ho I actually think Roy knows what he is doing and at least he can communicate with the players in the same language which is a decent start. We didn't deserve to win but I expect a Spain v Germany final. Germany 4 - Italy 0 is my bet for the semi.

Quote from Kazu2799 :lots of people here are seriously full of shit, had it been hamilton who tried to pass every single one of you would have put the blame on him and him only, hamilton did what he had to do, he didin't block maldonado and he was ahead of him for the second corner, Maldonado should have backed down.

And yet the majority of people here agree that Maldonado was at fault?

Quote from ATC Quicksilver :Well watching it live my opinion was that Maldonado decided to hit Hamilton, rather than accidentally hitting him. But I will wait for some non-fanboy opinions from the guys who actually know their stuff and race in real life, because they're the only sensible people posting in these threads most of the time.

My opinion is as followed.

Yes Hamilton was wrong to run Maldonado wide but as it is what everyone did throughout the race I really don't see the issue with it. Secondly, if there was a wall there instead of run off, Maldonado would have backed off, instead he ran onto the run off and decided to try overtake off the track. Because of this he found himself with 2 wheels effectively in the air because of the curb and understeered into Hamilton. No matter how much room Lewis would have given, Maldonado would have hit him, and this is because he didn't expect the understeer that he picked up to happen - therefore Maldonado's fault. Fully understand the annoyance of both drivers as really, Lewis should have let him go and finished 4th which would have meant he was only 7 points adrift of Alonso in the standings, but typical Hamilton 'win or nothing' attitude has resulted in a DNF.

Amazing drive from Alonso, for me deserves to be world champion this year because of his relentless pace and maturity, obviously a very emotional day for him as a home win and fully deserved it 100%. Great drive from Kimi just waiting patiently for either Alonso or Hamilton to fall away and a surprising but nice 3rd for Schumacher, Webber did pretty decently also! Who said Valencia had boring races! :munching_

That's really heart wrenching to hear about your daughter, never the less I think its amazing you two are battling adversity and fighting for her! I would donate but I have no money, so will show my support by following on Facebook, something I urge the community here to do - it's a little but I'm sure it means a lot just having the support base. Really hope you get all the support you need and deserve, good luck and god bless.

Quote from Stig209 :**** the sweden!!

I was thinking it was an alright match, with a little too much physical action from the Swedes, but after their 2nd goal when Ibrahamovic was shown on our screens mouthing "yeaaah eff you" to our goal keeper I seriously wished Rooney was on the pitch to do something stupid and punch him. Anyway, karma hit them hard - bye bye Sweden

That aside, Walcott and Welbeck showing some real quality and Caroll showing that once again he cannot score with anything other than his head, which I guess is a good and a bad thing but he should definitely be replaced by Rooney for the Ukraine match. I think Oxlade-Chamberlin, Walcott, Young, Welbeck and Rooney should all start the next match - and Milner should not.
