I highly doubt you can get anywhere near 145db (at 1m) from anything made by bose. Nor would you want that SPL for any reason aside from an SPL competition in which case you definitely wouldn't use anything made by bose. That's WAY over the threshold of pain of any person, anyway. Though you're probably being sarcastic.
It's irrelevant whether or not I see logic in that statement. You told me that I believe swearing is wrong. That is false. You told me that I am "only following what I was taught to believe," yet I doubt you know what I was taught, and what I believe. I could care less whether you think I'm wrong for what I believe. It's the fact that you're telling me that I believe something that I don't like.
Did Pablo Donoso get arrested by the police for the post? Otherwise his 1st amendment right was NOT violated. You are not entitled to free speech from anyone but the government, in the united states. The government cannot pass a law that limits your freedom of speech. No-one else besides the government has to give you freedom of speech. If I own a newspaper I don't have to let you write an article in it.
The United States 1st Amendment does apply on the internet.
I do?
Obviously it doesn't make it wrong to someone else. it makes it wrong for someone else.
The 1st amendment of the United States says the following: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
What's the First amendment have anything to do with a post being deleted on a forum? The first amendment just says that the government isn't allowed to make a law that doesn't let you practice freedom of speech, religion, assembly or press. You have absolutely no right to post on a private internet forum.
How do you know what other people are thinking? I may have to brush up on my ESP skills so I can do the same.
Ubuntu 8.04 x64, Nvidia 8600GT w/180.51 drivers, WINE 1.1.24, shadows work fine at both high and low res, no difference between test shadows and standard shadows.
That reminds me, I was driving on I495 the other day, which is the highway that circles Washington DC. There's three lanes, it's about 12:30am. I'm driving in the center lane going 57mph, and the speed limit was reduced to 50mph due to construction. There was no other traffic. I was staying out of the right lane because there was a wall right there and no shoulder due to construction, and where there's construction there's usually debris. This tractor trailer, or "lorry" , comes up behind me. He's coming closer and closer until the top of his headlights are pretty much at the top of my rear window. All I saw was the truck behind me. The **** kept coming towards me but I finally got into the right lane because the truck driver really was making it unsafe, and I didn't feel like 60,000lbs vs. 2500lbs would have a very good outcome.
If I were feeling reckless I would hit the brakes hard enough so that he would have locked up his tires and then floor it and watch him jacknife behind me. But i didn't like the possibility of me getting run over. I hate how truck drivers, in the US at least, feel that rules don't apply to them just because they have 30 tons of weight behind them.
