i wouldnt mind one that can turn into a helicopter.

I havent been racing much for a long time now because im sick of the combos on the servers available and im waiting for some new content, I can only take so much xrg/xfr on the same few tracks.

as much as i might like to try it, everytime i put rfactor on to try new mods they always dissapoint no matter how hyped up it is and theres so much time spent messing around with mod files and downloads. Ive learned to just not waste my time now.

im now getting twice the framerate at the back of a full grid of AI. went from 35-40fps up to 70-80fps. Long live the provider.

i think the sun defintely has something to do with it. Considering the massive temps the sun gets to, it wouldnt take much to affect the temperature here on earth. A few thousand degrees c variation on the sun wouldnt be much up there, but it might be enough to make a few degrees difference down here when our climate temps around the world only differ by about 100deg c.

definetly looking forward to it, since stalker is one of the very few games that requires me to change into clean shorts after each time i play.

i hope theres some way of getting the beta to work if theres no more releases because even just the beta was almost on par with LFS as far as the physics go. It was atleast better than all the other """"sims"""" for offer.

i just came from having a pretty decent go and this game is lots of fun, but a bit frustrating when you continuously get shot. Ive been playing people all over the world and lag isnt a problem. Its not smooth like playing people on the same console, but it doesnt affect the gameplay.

i rented this out the other day and im glad i rented cause this is not worth paying for, however the full version will definitely be worth every penny. The graphics are just amazing sometimes, and the physics have been greatly improved since gt4 but i wouldnt say theyre realistic. It works good with the G25, but using the controller feels weird, feels like theyve put some smoothing on it, which kind of helps but makes it hard to catch slides and you end up with the back swinging like a pendulum. And i still cant do proper burnouts/donuts, which means something in the physics code is still very very wrong.

I hope they give him some sort of punishment for that otherwise people will never learn from their stupid mistakes.

I dont own any. my friend has a few guns for sport, and i do think theyre cool, but im very thankful everyday that theyre not easily obtainable for anyone that wants one.

Some body shells for 1/10 scale rc cars would look pretty cool.
But wether it was that or a 1/18 scale replica i would probably buy one depending what car it was.

i dont get excited about these games anymore, even though they look great graphically, i just assume that the gameplay and physics will suck, they hype it up each time how they've improved the physics to be more real but its always the same.

• Flexible race format. Motos can be time or lap based.
  
• Up to 40 riders. Run a full gate if your computer is fast enough! (A 2 GHz CPU will handle 10 riders smoothly, a 1 GHz CPU will handle 3.)

The demo only has 3 tracks but you can download more. I think its just a one man team that made this. No multiplayer yet but i think that is next on the list.
It almost seems like an early version of LFS but for dirt bikes. Its not easy to master either.

the download usage from playing lfs online would be unnoticeable so i wouldnt worry about that.
The online play definetely isnt as good anymore for us aussies in terms of pickup races, but as long as your on at the right time theres usually some pretty decent racing to be had, and theres plenty of local organised events such as monday night racing.

it should only be about 5pm here (Aus) when it launches, so im looking forward to watching it. I would love to see one in person but its a long way for me to travel.

medieval total war 2 is pretty good, its kind of half turn based, half rts. it can get very addictive.

bf2 is good online, if you can get it to work. Everytime i install it i get different errors and bugs.

try getting dxtweak2 and putting some deadzone on the steering axis, this helped me when i used a ps2 controller

diddy kong racing is pretty good, its kinda similar to mario kart

Ive got a Tamiya TL01 and a HSP 1/10 nitro monster truck with an .18 size engine. I just finsihed putting new suspension on it.
Ive also got some planes and helis.

get a DS and an R4 card or similar for it, which lets you play movies/music/rom backups,etc. and homebrew such as the original doom or descent. Touchscreen is awesome for games.

if rfactor was such a good sim, they wouldnt need to make a mod specifically for drifitng and you'd just be able to use any of the cars in the game...
