i cant see how improving this game makes it worse for some people, its never been better and its now another step closer to being just like the real thing, which, if you bought this game, is what you should be expecting, a racing simulator

although im getting used to it, i still find it a little uncomfortable trying to press both buttons on my g25 wheel to look left and right when im going round a corner and the wheel is almost upside down. I prettymuch never use the 45deg view. I would prefer one press to be 90 and maybe instead of looking straight back when you press both, it looks back 135deg, like looking over your shoulder at the cars blind spot, which to me seems about the furthest i can turn my head while driving, and still seems totally realistic.

some servers dedicated to tbo and rac/lx6/fz5 classess would be awesome or even just the xrt. ive always found them to be the most fun for racing, but havent had good races online in tbo since s1 days, and havent had any good races with lrf yet because no one seems to want to use them for racing.

i just found a little game called thunderwheels, certainly not a sim but its still a fun little offroad racer.

Limiting the race to commodores and falcons really sucked, but its still a great race. I spose reactions like in this vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_ATwXUtxPA is why they changed it

I personally dont really care what car make wins, i just like watching the racing But if i had to choose it would probably be ford. Im not real happy with the holden we got

wireless would be good if its lag free, the 4 cables coming out of my g25 really get annoying when everything gets tangled up in them since they arent long enough to run behind the desk.

screamer 4x4 is my favourite offroad sim (apart from lfs) and it works great with the g25, considering how old it is, it does a pretty good job of reproducing some of the feelin you get driving offroad.

i followed that guide and it worked fine for me. Im using an nvidia card

im usually in bed when most people are online, but when i do play, a majority of the people seem to be in those stupid street cruise servers rather than racing. Im not so much sick of the content, but more sick of doing the same combos all the time. A lot of the servers i see with people in them are on the same combos theyve had for ages. I havent seen people racing TBO much for a while and i dont think ive ever seen some proper racing with LRF cars, which is what im mainly hanging out for because they are the cars ive used the least.

we hardly get anything here in aus. F1 in the middle of the night, and bits and pieces of various local racing for an hour or 2 on the weekends such as drifting, or ameteurs in commodores, and v8 supercars, but i never remember to watch the v8s,plus i cant stand some of our commentators. I feel motorsport deprived.

i drive a commodore and i can tell you they are pretty awful cars. They arent good around corners (no wonder they stopped skylines and stuff from being in bathurst), terrible suspension and they are pretty poor quality all round. Mine is only a few years old and the insides are already falling apart, stuff like popup covers for drink holders are broken so there a lid sticking out near the gearstick, and the electric windows motors are almost dead. And there is almost no feeling in the steering. I could go on for hours

the story seems interesting and kinda original, but for a 1.8gb demo i was expecting more than 20mins of play time.

i tried putting mine upside down, but i just couldnt get them at a comfortable angle and got a sore ankle very quick, this might just be me, or it could be the way they are made.Other people seem to have had succes with it though

that way too much too pay, especially after paying about $400 for the g25. Have you sold any yet? And if $120 is the intro price, whats going to be the normal price? $150? Plus i dont like the idea of an extra chord along with the 4 the g25 already has.

all that work setting it up and the guys head is in the way of some of the projector image and the rest of it on the roof and dash. pretty dodgy

it will probably be like the toca series, simulating actual racing but still with the arcadey physics.

reinstalling windows might be quicker than screwing around trying to fix the problem. Im never installing SP2 again because when i do windows starts to play up and do weird stuff, so ive found just leaving it always works best for me.

if you can, put some fans in the case at the front and/or back to help fresh air flow through which should help the temp drop on everything. 120mm would be good but i think they are kinda exspensive. Its defintely worth spending a bit of money to have a quiet(er) computer.

buy a ffb joystick and get a program called ffshifter.
