if they wanna have fun driving their cars fast they should go do it on a track, not on public streets.

im pretty sure you can only use one at a time, but lfs only has stereo anyway.

Ive got an a64 3000+, 7900gt, 2gb ram, and it runs ok most of the time on med graphics. I think you might be able to run it on low detail lol.
This is one of the best games ive played, but it makes me want to upgrade.

i just hope this patch actually does what it is spose to and fixes things so i can finally get some online time with this game. I dont think it would ever overtake lfs for me, especially at the rate they are updating it. S3 will probably be out by the time nk is at v1.05

I had a non ffb one by thrustmaster with analogue paddles called the "360 modena pro".

i bought it and had a bit of a go but could never get into it. The FFB always felt terrible, even if i fiddled with the settings, and there was no way of feeling when the car was on the limit. Plus online worked terrible, the cars never looked connected to the track like lfs does, which is very off putting when ur right on their tail and they are moving sideways round a corner or halfway thorugh a wall (this was on a local server btw)

i wouldnt mind seeing this track in lfs, but would much rather see a similar fantsay track based of nurburg designed by the devs. Eric is great at track making.

i wouldnt waste money upgrading a pc just for this game. It gets old kinda quick.

same here in aus, i had a check in a few places and they all had plenty o' ps3s on the shelf.

does anyone else feel a small electric shock when they touch the metal parts of their pedals and their computer case at the same time? This happens to me, even when the wheel isnt plugged in the usb. Its very annoying when i go to fiddle with something behind the computer and i get a small shock from leaning on the pedals.

i had to return about 5 of those wheels cause the pedals kept breaking. Quality

you cant do it lfs, you need to do it in your video card settings in windows

starship troopers 2 is the worst sequel/movie i have ever seen.

it looks like it would make a good 4x4 game, but not racing.

i thought the shifter felt pretty crappy, but it does the job, and the forcefeedback easily makes up for it anyway. This wheel definitely works best in LFS.

is anything being done about this? I am still getting it ALL the time and it is really starting to suck.

enthusia for ps2 has it, and with a G25, it is the next best driving sim i've played after lfs.

maybe a 9700 pro? they should be dirt cheap now and ive got one in an old pc that runs lfs nicely with 2xaa.

is it onboard sound? maybe its time for a new soundcard? or maybe new soundcard drivers would help??

i didnt think they were stiff enough and ive used 2 different units, but anything stiffer would just push the base off the floor, this carpet grip system is pretty crap at doing its job.

mines started making a weird ticking noise when i turn the wheel past certain points (usually 2 or 3 times every 360 deg), and it sounds like its coming from the motor with the optical encoder on it. It still performs fine though so i wont bother exchanging it just yet.
