No, you wouldn't be able to start two instances of Live for Speed, because as soon as you log onto the second one, the first one disconnects.

Also, if someone has your username and password someone could boot you off, but right now they could prevent you from logging in so I don't see how one is worse than the other.

Actually, just getting automatically disconnected if a successful attempt is made to connect under your username/pass would be reasonable. The whole 'No, you can't connect because you're already online even though you're now trying to connect!' thing never made sense to me.

The official SimRS Stage Rallying Rules have been updated to account for changes in the upcoming patch. Also, the 2007 Stage Rally Championship Supplemental Regulations have been released. You can view both here.

Please read both carefully, and if you have any questions be sure to ask!

Here is the number placard required to be worn during championship events (per the official SimRS rules).

Any driver not bearing the placard will likely be excluded from any promotional photos/videos.

I admit the last two years have been dire, but I place the blame on Prodrive/SWRT engineers more than Subaru or the Impreza itself. Prodrive has been distracted getting their F1 program setup, and SWRT has suffered.

Anyways, back on topic, the second background is definately a Subaru driver, most likely Petter. You can see the SWRT and STI logos on his arm.

Server 2 was great! Lots of action, very few issues.

I had the 'menu freeze' bug, but it only lasted a few seconds (I think it was while a player was connecting).

The only thing that's really irritating me is that you can't even click through or change your options while someone is connecting. That doesn't make any sense!

To put it as simple as possible, you're not getting the same 'feel' as you would in a road car. You're not feeling the car's g-forces, so you don't have the same sensation of speed and centrifical force. This is definately the most realistic sim I've ever played (even beating Grand Prix Legends , in my opinion).

ATM it seems someone keeps joining, failing and doing it again - this is imobilising the server

We've PW'ed the server so Scawen, Vic and Don can get in, then we'll let them "open the flood gates"

Crap, I removed a ton of people to get up front for the second track and then I lagged out. Karma.

Jesus, you can't do anything because people are constantly connecting/disconnecting. I'm hoping this gets addressed quickly in a subsequent patch (hint hint).
