I would consider a cross promotion or full blown SimRS sanctioning of the championship if you get some more details together and we can work out some of the basic rules. I'll keep an eye on this to see how it goes, if you'd be interested shoot me an email or pm.

There are actually four different classes for the Production cars. I decided to break them into classes since there is an obvious performance difference between the cars and there is no reliable way of evening them out.

On a different note, I made a short movie of FABRY's roll on SS3. I basically just did this to learn some things about the software I have.

Well, since I was already leaning more towards 'no' and you guys seem to be the same, I've decided not to bother with slickmod. I appreciate the comments! I'll be looking for more after next weekend's events, stay tuned.

Agreed. Exclusion is a bit harsh, but I agree that they're creating an unnecessary hazard to locals by driving on three wheels.

I liked some of the transitions and shot angles near the end. The one where you were 'mounted' on the sidepod and switched seamlessly between three different cars was really impressive.

After the FIA awarded the contract to rival firm Pirelli rather than Michelin-owned BFGoodrich (Competition, March 12), Michelin’s competition director Frederic Henry-Biabaud claimed the FIA had made its decision “for reasons that have nothing to do with sport.” Michelin’s complaint filed against the FIA in a French court asks that the decision “be annulled due to irregularities in the tender process.”

Henry-Biabaud pointed out that the decision to award the contract to Pirelli was “strange, given that all the manufacturers supported us.”

Manufacturer representatives make up only one element of the voting panel on the World Rallies Commission, which also consists of many other groups, such as event and commercial representatives.

The FIA would not comment on the case, but a senior Pirelli source said, “What [Michelin is] doing is madness. They are publicly accusing the FIA of corruption, and the FIA will not like that suggestion. This is simply suicidal if Michelin wants any kind of future in FIA-sanctioned motorsport.”

Michelin’s action is backed by world champion team Citroën, which has threatened to pull out of the sport if it is forced to run on Pirellis next year. Citroën has a multi-million-dollar deal with Michelin to supply tires for its road cars.

Even more drama for the FIA to deal with. I'm going to have to side with Michelin on this one, the Pirelli deal seems very, very shady.

Congratulations to Team Elite for capturing top honors this afternoon! Lococost finished 12 seconds ahead of his teammate Stocky to capture today's Club Stage Rally.

Aquilifer took top TBO class honors, pulling over 20 seconds ahead of Polo. David, Frenkie and FABRY all showed speed, but DNFs took each out of contention.

Thanks to all who competed! This was one of the smoothest events I've ever organized.

Well, because of an 'organizer malfunction' I accidentally started the event an hour earlier than I should have. Daylight Savings Time made me think I was an hour ahead of where I really was. As a result, we had two seperate events which both turned out great!

A big congratulations goes out to Frenkie, a SimRS rookie who swept both events and broke Lococost's massive winning streak!
