Thats a wicked piece of onboard footage. So nice to have the camera mounted ON the Kart itself in a place where you can see the drivers inputs as well, rather than from the moving helmet (horrible), or on the front bumper (horrible).
but a lot of drivers are weird about numbers. I can't drive with anything other than 46. I will use 45 or 35 but it just don't feel right without 46. unfortunately Rossi has made it tricky now coz everyone wants 46! lol
I always hoped someone would do a gag about that. Place a huge laser price scanner on the starting-lights lattice-work. When a Ferrari whizzes past, the speakers blast out a freaking loud "BLIP", and big electronic signboard flashes up "$15,000,000".
only for HARDCORE f1 fans now and who like a good bet (all the other miserable gits can ignore this post it mentions a kart driver SHOCK HORROR). On mcLaren's website this is mentioned
McLaren Website - "In January 2010 Nick de Vries joined fellow Young Drivers - Oliver Rowland, Oliver Turvey and Alex Alban."
Now I assume Alex Alban refers to Alex Albon - British Junior Karting Champion. If it does they haven't announced it yet. But could be ANOTHER name to the young driver programme. It appears McLaren are heavily investing in young talent atm I actually mentioned Alex not too long ago with a debate with Madcat... there I am again way ahead of the curve lol
That's what karting is like. It can be pretty brutal on your body sometimes. Which is why F1 drivers claim that it's so good for keeping your reactions and fitness in check.
