I noticed that Martin Whitmarsh was at the launch, and photos show him looking rather unsettlingly happy when they unveiled their car - does this mean that he's delighted that the Mercedes color scheme is nothing like the new McLaren scheme? Perhaps we could see McLaren return to a Marlboro orange and white scheme? That would be awesome.

Also, noticed in the photos how thin Schumacher is looking. He was never a fatty, but now he's looking VERY thin. Looks like he's got himself into shape in no time!
New Bahrain layout:

Discuss. (Its the 24 hours of Bahrain layout iirc)
Well, the new bits won't help overtaking, but they probably won't make it any worse. But it might improve the spectacle, as it was a monumentally dull track...
Quote from RiseAgainstMe! :well, it looks like it'll be easy to distinguish from the McLarens at least. That's a point in this livery's favor.

Maybe the McLaren goes back to papaya, we don't know...
anybody else think his head looks as attached to his body as the churchill dog's head.
Eewww......

Sorry, but IMO that livery just looks terrible.
i think schumachers been in f1 too long and has driven through t8 at turkey too often
Who cares about the paint and stickers. The car is beautiful! look at the rear sidepod area!!!

U do know u are looking at last years Brawn right? This isn't the 2010 car so only thing to comment on is really the new livery.

And that pic above of Schumacher ...I can't help but think he looks exactly like Popeye after he swallowed some spinach.
Yes, I said it before, and I'll say it again, that chassis is beautiful, who cares what colours are on it?
Seriously, keep the friggin points system as it was... now it's just confusing and effing lame.
I learnt most of my basic maths from watching motorsport and playing darts, this new points system should keep me up to scratch. At least there is a greater reward for winning now.
since I'm a very graphically oriented person and just numbers doesn't work well with me, I made this...thought it might be of use to someone else.

I actually think I like the new system the best , either point system is better than the one that has been in use.

IMO there's too big a gap between 1st and second now though.

It's stupid, if the ratio is bigger then it means the points are all screwed for people who DON'T win a race. There can never be a champion that doesn't win a race, or only wins one race like Keke in 1982.

And since they got the points all the way down to 10th place, it really doesn't make much of a difference, all it does is make it harder to work out, and must confuse people into thinking there is more of a benefit to winning than before... a win is a win, just because theres effectively 2 or 3 more points with ratio to get when you win, it's not going to make people want to 'win' more because every driver wants to win, if they think changing the points will make the podium results different then they are smoking crack. Since when did a mass number of points make a driver want to win more than before? Never. Didn't hear Denis Hulme complainin when they only got 9points for a win then. Did it make them just wanna pack it in and roll home in 5th? No. The reasons they have changed the points for winning, just make it clear that the governing body know almost nothing about how a racing drivers head works.

Nyck de Vries with Hamilton and co! He weighs about 2kg
Maybe we should set up a karting thread for intrepid, your starting to boil my piss and killing my sperm
USF1 announced Jose Maria Lopez.
Wonder how much he's bring to USF1. Must be a lot.
Quote from Intrepid :Wonder how much he's bring to USF1. Must be a lot.

actually, 2m out of the 8 that he had to collect were paid by the argentine government. me, a dude that was born in argentina and left it coz of the economy, thinks that it is a really stupid move from Christina Kirchner ( the president of Argentina..) to pay that stupid amount of money just to see a compatriot humilliated in FailF1. that money could have been used to help the ppl in need, but no. that god damn blonde thinks its better to support an athlete and let the population die.
