* PENALTIES :
R. Kardol, [FFM]ˆsermilan, GenR uNite, MTDZX-Arska - receives a WARNING for track limits violation when entering pitlane. When entering the pitlane,also the small chicane has to be respected. All 4 mentioned drivers cut over both left and right grass sections while also many other drivers cut over just one. Let's stay fair in future and respect track limits also when entering pitlane as this behaviour will be more monitored in future.
MTDZX-UM21 - receives 10 seconds penalty added to his finish time for track limits violation when entering pitlane on 2 occasions.
MTDZX-UM21 - receives 10 seconds penalty added to his finish time for pit exit line violation.
3skimas - receives 60 seconds penalty added to his finish time for not completing pitstop requirement.
LLM.Sobis - receives 60 seconds penalty added to his finish time for not completing pitstop requirement.
biroot - receives 60 seconds penalty added to his finish time for not completing pitstop requirement.

For the 2nd race in row a car was used for the first time in RTFR XL,this time it was the FZ5. Despite being 2nd least used car according to LFSW statistics,this was the 3rd most attended event in RTFR XL history. Despite the long penalties list,none of them affected outcome of the finish results.

After recent success in normal RTFR,Litti made a debuth also in XL version and that with style - he set a lap more than a second faster than the competition in both sessions and was never challenged for win as he led every meter of the 180 kilometer race. After 16 races break the 6th most successful driver of RTFR XL made a return to the event under new name and flag. Merenui carried over his qualifying position to finish line and added 2nd place finish to his 2 race wins to make a total of 4 top5 finishes. Another finnish first time participant M.Wentjärvi finished 3rd. Only other previous winner R.Kardol finished 4th,which is his 8th top5 finish (tied 3rd most),Riddick started from back of the grid and still joined the top5 finishers list for the 2nd time.

* FUN FACT OF THE MONTH :
It was the 6th RTFR XL race in row where a street legal car was used and of course the most powerful car FZ5 had the fastest average race speed of 138.7km/h,which is still 9km/h shy of all time RTFR XL race average speed though.

* CLOCK PITTER OF THE RACE :
T.Soini returned to his "home" mention as he again had the fastest work free pitstop of 10.15 seconds.

* FIELD RUSHER OF THE RACE :
Riddick missed the qualifying and had to start the race from the very last position - 22nd. He made a total of 17 positions progress to finish 5th.

* HONORABLE MENTION :
Meteor44 has never been between the candidates for win,but surely had his fun to make progress in this race - he qualified last,but finished 14th making up a total of 7 positions during the race.

4 weeks gap between XL races as always and the combo for next one has been already submitted. It will be the 3rd race in row where a previously unused car will be used,this time the fastest LFS car BF1. The selected track is Kyoto National Reversed,which is a great variation of speed and cornering. Already next tuesday the normal RTFR returns,one of the road legal cars will be used,more details tomorrow!

I really need better chair and more vacation in order to focus on these races better. I also did choose wrong my setup.

Gotta take another round when I have vacation next time... in next year.

EDIT: I failed first time pit lane limits... then I didn't care. Oh well!

i'm in!
Congrats to Litti for the comeback and the win! Great drive and outpaced everyone really. Apologies for the Turn 1 crash Litti, but nothing I could do because you outbroke yourself and slid right across me.

Couple shit decisions and a lag crash ruined my race down to P7 but nice battling this round. Thanks for event!
BF1 event race was cool!

My Brain.exe has stopped working... Because forget to pit refill fuel on 31 laps out of fuel last turns slow driving 48kph and got pitlane but "Not have a starter motor"... so rip. xd

Thanks for event my last play today. Holiday is end, back to work next week. Frown

* PENALTIES :
DR.SKULL - receives 20 seconds penalty added to his finish time for pit exit line violation on 2 occasions.
GenR uNite - post race 45 seconds pitlane speeding penalty conversion results in loss of last lap. (original LFS calculated gap to winner minus laptime of last lap results with final result of -1 lap +27.29s. This moves him 1 position lower.

- - - - - - - - - -

As previously announced - 3rd race in row with new car to RTFR XL and this time we had the fastest LFS car BF1. Coincidentally the calculation for 75 minute race resulted in classic F1 distance of 300km + 1 lap,but due to relatively big difference between hotlap pace and average race pace,the actual race was just over 80 minutes,still just 2nd longest race,less than 2 seconds shorter than 28th RTFR XL.

Defending race winner Litti used his picked combo for advantage and practically dominated the race even if it does not look like that on stats sheet. He was fastest in qualifying by a quarter second and led the field off the grid,but got involved into incident when entering infield track which caused him to drop down in order. But he recovered quickly,regained the lost positions and regained the lead when his main rival pitted for the first time. Another positions switch was made in next pitstop sequence and Litti regained lead with 23 laps to go to lead the remaining race on way for his 2nd successive race win. Just like in previous race Litti took the full sweep of race win,pole position and fastest lap. Botsi led just over 1/2 of race distance,but had to concede to his faster countryman by 11 seconds,5th top5 finish for the most successful driver in both RTFR events. Simox was the only other driver,who was up front in race lead,but he never crossed the finish line as a leader,so no entry in these stats for him,it was 2nd race for him in this event and he repeated previous result by finishing 3rd,he was also the only non-finn in top5. J.Katila made a debuth in XL event with 4th place finish,he gained a position upon Unite's speeding penalty while entering pitlane on last lap - Unite is now 5th in final results,4th top5 finish for him.

* FUN FACT OF THE MONTH :
For the first time XL race featured different possible pitstop strategies - as 4th place finisher proved,it was possible to complete the race with just 1 pitstop despite pre-race calculations of 210% fuel needed for the distance. Because of that most of the drivers went for 2 pitstop strategy,while 3 attempted to complete the race with 1 - one of them failed and run out of fuel.

* CLOCK PITTER OF THE RACE :
It was impossible to complete this race without any pitwork,so the mention goes to the one with simply shortest time spent in pitstall - J.Katila stopped just for fuel for 10.10 seconds right after half distance.

* FIELD RUSHER OF THE RACE :
The previous winner of a normal RTFR race Finmaxi started the race from 16th grid position and was able to halve the number for finish result - +8 positions gain for the driver starting an XL race for the 1st time

* HONORABLE MENTION :
Due timezone differences the event time is quite unconfortable for far east region of Asia,still a driver from Singapore entered the longer race while being couple of hours past midnight. Nova proved his speed by qualifying 3rd and setting 2nd fastest lap of the race,but his race was overshadowed by various troubles and he finished just 7th in final results.

In 4 weeks the next RTFR XL is scheduled - combo is currently unknown (possible cars are visible in leagues section),the winner of this race has time until next tuesday to decide. But already next week the RTFR action resumes with normal event using one of the street legal cars,more info during this weekend!

This race hosted the 3rd outing of the GTR class car FZR. The urban canyon of armcos and concrete walls proved to be a great challenge,where more contacts were made between cars and walls than cars and other cars. Some misjudged the living distance of their tyres,which at the end cost a position or even more.

The previous winner Fast joined RTFR XL for the 1st time this year - he qualified just 4th,but was able to advance up in standings during the later part of the race,he led only 3 last laps of the race,but the last one is the one that really counts - 2nd race win in Fast's account (both in South City) and 4th top5 finish. The defending double winner Litti led just over half of the race,but he had to make an extra pitstop for tyre chance - only 2nd place finish in his 3rd race. His teammate Botsi also led few laps before needing to make an extra pitstop which threw him down to 3rd position in finish,6th top5 finish for the tied most wins owner. It was the 2nd race start for Finmaxi in the XL event and he made some progress when compared to previous try - 4th place finish is 4 positions better than in last month's race. J.A.Katila was the best of the rest - he was the first of those losing a lap during the race and finished 5th,allthough he gained a position due penalty of a rival,12th top5 finish for the previous winner. He's not the only Katila worth to mention after this race - his son J.Katila was the fastest in qualifying and earned his 1st pole position here,but had few too many contacts in this canyon and retired after around 2/3 of the race,but did set the fastest lap while not having contacts.

* FUN FACT OF THE MONTH :
It was already the 3rd time when an XL race had a total of 4 different race leaders,how many laps led the winner of previous race with 4 different leaders? J.A.Katila also led just 3 laps on his way to victory lane in 23rd RTFR XL.

* CLOCK PITTER OF THE RACE :
...is T.Soini again - he stopped at his pitstall and just waited for 10.52s to go by and rejoined the action without any pitwork. He was the only one to finish the car as he started it,as everyone else made some pitwork (fastest of them was the race winner with 10.15 fuel only pitstop).

* FIELD RUSHER OF THE RACE :
In last lap fight for 7th position Redbot was able to defend it,which means he has 6 positions gain between start and finish - most between all in this race.

* HONORABLE MENTION :
GTR cars are known to be resource hungry,both in terms of fuel and tyres,which usually means that 75 minutes race would require change tyres and at some cases even fill fuel. 2 drivers in this race reached finish line (but completing 1 lap less) without any help from pitcrew - T.Soini and GT4tube,the latter never visited his pitcrew and received a penalty though.

The october RTFR XL race in 4 weeks will bring back currently the most popular car of this event - FXO. In 2 occasions FXO has average attendance of 23 drivers per race and also has the event record of 32 drivers. The venue - Westhill's longer configuration named International,race lenght will be calculated to 34 laps. But already next week the normal RTFR will return with street legal car action,more details in the weekend.

Race statistics / Event rating and other statistics (will be updated during the week)

This was the 3rd running of the most popular (by race attendance) car of this event - FXO,but due only 16 drivers starting in the race,FXO has now lost the top position and gave it up to FZ5,which sole race has been more attended than any other car's average value. Anyway - the racing was hot,allthough more in terms of tyre temperatures as usually for faster and heavier street legal cars - rece turned out to be a pure endurance of balancing between speed and tyre conservation.

The best at this discipline was Botsi,who already in qualifying proved to be fastest by a good gap than competition. He did lose the lead in lap one however,but his opponent could not keep him behind for long and Botsi led more than 4/5 of the race to score his 5th RTFR XL race win,combined with 5th pole position and 5th fastest lap of the race - he was a tied leader in all these charts until yesterday,it was also Botsi's 7th top5 finish. Spiky was the one,who was able to challenge Botsi - he passed the finn entering turn 1 and kept himself in leading position for 6 laps until conceding to Botsi's pass in the very same turn. In the finish it was 2nd place for the previous 2-time winner and 5th top5 finish. R.Kardol joined just before race was about to start and rallied through the field to find himself in 3rd position while crossing the finish line - he made podium to consist only from previous winners (no other previous winnere were present at this race) and earned his 9th top5 finish. The son of not racing previous winner J.Katila finished 4th,with this he repeated his only previous top5 finish while his countryman Finmaxi scored his 2nd top5 finish by finishing 5th yesterday.

* FUN FACT OF THE MONTH :
Botsi did not just put himself in top of 3 different charts,he also became the 1st driver in RTFR XL history to win 2 races with same car - FXO!

* CLOCK PITTER OF THE RACE :
Michal stopped in his pitstall for 10.19 seconds and left it without having any work on the car - this was the shortest legal timed pitstop of this race.

* FIELD RUSHER OF THE RACE :
Starting from last position without qualifying mostly gives somewhat "unfair" advantage to become the Field rusher of the race - R.Kardol did it like that this time advancing himself from 16th position on grid to 3rd in finish.

* HONORABLE MENTION :
Setting the 4th fastest lap in race does not guarantee apropriate position automatically - Maciek beat the 2:18 mark on his final lap,but overall performance was good enough just for 7th position in results,still valuable experience gained to put himself in top5 for future races.

The winner of yesterday's race hasn't submitted his choice for next combo yet,but he has time until next tuesday! In the said tuesday next normal RTFR is scheduled - this race will mark the start of final 5 races for the 2019 standings. As per rules the 5 worst results do not count towards the standings,which means everyone now has the chance to improve his 5 worst results to upgrade his final score. This 5 race finale will start with one of the street legal cars,more info as usually in the weekend.
Race Green Events offers also racing in other leagues - the 5th season of V8 Racing League has started last sunday,3 races still to ahead,a chance for everyone to join racing with one of the most challenging cars of LFS.

2nd outing of the beefed up UF1000 was hosted in the track known for being the origin of LFS racing - Blackwood. Only 11 of 19 starters crossed the finish line while 3 others retired after completing half of the distance - the combo of this car and Blackwood caused quite high attrition rate of racers while lack of full distance testing cause quite few tyres to be blown or at least replaced before failing.

Litti posted the best laptime late in the qualifying session to secure pole position for himself - despite letting a teammate by couple of times,he dominated the race by finishing more than a minute ahead of closest rival (all time 5th biggest margin of victory). Litti earned 3rd race win,3rd pole position and 4th top5 finish which makes him 3rd most successful racer in the almost 3 years long RTFR XL history. Defending race winner Botsi qualified 2nd and despite few position changes also finished 2nd while setting fastest lap of the race on the way - 6th such achievement for him,8th top5 finish also added. R.Kardol made the podium complete for his team S1dus - he finished 3rd and earned 10th top5 finish. Best from other teams was Simox in 4th,3rd top5 finish in 4 races for him,Rony closed the top5 and increased his top5 finish count to 18.

* FUN FACT OF THE MONTH :
Before this race Blackwood was the only track not having Finland as the most successful country (besides Autocross),this was changed in the latest race by Litti.

* CLOCK PITTER OF THE RACE :
No drivers completed this race without any pitwork (allthough some tried),so the mention goes to someone spending least time in pits - J.A.Katila made a fuel only stop for 10.15 seconds.

* FIELD RUSHER OF THE RACE :
With attrition rate this high it's not that hard to gain positions between start and finish - Rony had a +12 gain while 4 other drivers gained 5 or more positions.

* HONORABLE MENTION :
2nd fastest lap of the race and 4th best lap in qualifying but just 8th in final results - pace was there for Unite and now also more experience how to do better in all other laps of the race.

In 4 weeks the final RTFR XL of this year is scheduled,combo currently is not known,the winner has to submit his choice until next tuesday (it will be posted in website's calendar right after receiving the message). Combo is also unknown for the next normal RTFR next tuesday,but it will be posted during this weekend. Race Green Events action is not over yet for this week - sunday the 2nd half of the 2019 season of V8 Racing League is about to start,2 races left waiting for their winners,all the chances for everyone still to join the racing!

Race statistics / Event rating and other statistics (will be updated during the week)

The 3rd year of RTFR XL was completed with 1st appearance of the lightest LFS car - the McGill Racing Team's creation for Formula SAE has a dry weight of just 221 kilograms,while with driver and full race fuel it reaches 300. Low weight,short wheelbase and high grip causes quite specific handling characteristics,with which some drivers cannot cope while some are faster than with other cars.

The current world record time owner Botsi posted fastest time in qualifying (his 6th in total),but early in the race he was passed by his teammate and later he lost another 2 positions,but Botsi was able to regain all lost positions just after half distance of the race and led last 26 laps on his way to 6th RTFR XL race win - all of them scored in this year. He also added 7th fastest lap of the race and 9th top5 finish to his achievements. Gábor finished 2nd just 6 seconds behind WR holder,even without leading a single lap,he was deffinitelly a candidate for win yesterday - it was the 1st time from 3 starts when Gábor crossed the finish line in RTFR XL race. R.Kardol had a very good start as he slipped into lead early on while starting from 2nd row,but he had to concede to his teammate's pass in lap 29 after leading all laps until then. During pitstop he lost another position and finished 3rd - 11th top5 finish for the dutch driver. Simox finished 4th for the 2nd race in row - that and two 3rd place finishes are his all 4 top5 finishes,Texas completed the top5 and it was 4th top5 finish also for him.

* FUN FACT OF THE MONTH :
It took 36 races for all LFS's 20 cars to be picked for racing at this event,allthough both street legal XR cars were picked by automatic choice due 2 race winners not submitting their combo choice. Let's see how the trend will develop next year. Currently XFG has been picked 4 times (once automatically for very first XL race because being most popular in normal RTFR),while FXO,FZR and FBM were picked 3 times.

* CLOCK PITTER OF THE RACE :
T.Soini mastered his speciality once again - he made a 10.15 seconds work free pitstop and timed his launch back to racing better than all others,that's what this mention is all about. There was a faster pitstop though - Sick had a 0.05s faster pitstop,but he did refuelling.

* FIELD RUSHER OF THE RACE :
GT4tube made a 6 positions progress,which is the best in this race - he started 13th and finished 7th as the leading car of all lapped cars.

* HONORABLE MENTION :
3rd start and finally a finish - it was not just runner-up's result,but also for a driver not known of being fast around RGE hosted events. The swedish driver L.Rydh finished 8th in this race - 8 places better than his best achievement in the normal RTFR.

The 1st year of RTFR XL having a specific year's standings is over and there are no doubts about standings winner - it's the 6 time race winner Botsi,while provisional calculations puts his teammate R.Kardol in 2nd place and event hoster Rony in 3rd. Full year's results will be posted in this weekend. Next RTFR XL will take place in the last tuesday of new year's january,but the winner of yesterday's race already submitted his choice for the 37th RTFR XL - it will be 3rd appearance for UF1 and also for Aston North configuration (this time in reversed direction though),but for the 1st time they will be used together.
But the year of RTFR is not over yet - already next tuesday it will be final race toward's normal RTFR's standings,a street legal car will be used in this race,more info also in the weekend. The usual 2 weeks break between normal RTFR events will be shortened,as otherwise it would fall in 24th december,so the 26th race of the year will be hosted week earlier - in 17th december,this race won't count towards year's standings though.
