This of course assumes my banshee email address was working... Which it isnt...

Still trying to fix that btw, the DNS registrar finaly replied to my email today by saying that...

We did not sit on this case . We have written to the domain admin contact at [email protected] to authenticate your request ; since you are not able to provide us the domains order number.

So the reason I didn't hear anything was because they where sending emails to the email address that isn't working, and in order to fix the email server I have to send an email from the broken email address.

Great...
Sam also has the powah to edit Becky's post to say whatever he wants it to and pwn her even harder....not that such a well intentioned individual as Sam would evah even consider such a dirty trick....
Yes it's entirely my fault and Sam is a genius. I love him and want to tell the world what a great guy he is.
EDIT: And i'm sexy too.
EDIT2: Doh!
/me cues SamH to add how sexy he is... :P

Have they caught on to this minor technicality yet? I reckon ICANN is the way to go, if they don't fix it immediately. A fax from your chap (or a proof of ID scanned) to the registrar is usually the alternative method, if recognised email isn't possible. You have to break out of the catch-22 you're in, because your registrar is an idiot.

Oooh!
Nahh.. (serious face) words are sacred. I did edit one of Kev's (thisnameistaken) posts.. it was too much to resist .. but that's the only time I'll ever change someone else's text

I didn't do that!

I DIDN'T!

NO!! SERIOUSLY!!..

OI!

Edit it while you have the chance, add how sexy you are...

No need.. everyone knows

Errrr...
Quote from Becky Rose :Heya Tristan, i've got an updated commentary application for you, it's quite funky actually and has a push to talk system et all . I'll upload it for you both later on when the boss is off my back (I was away Friday and everything has gone awry whilst I was off!).

For the commentary we first need the visuals for you to comment on, this will take 1-2 weeks. Atm I need to buy a copy of Fraps that I cant do atm because my home email with my paypal account is down, and paypal wont let me use the same card on two different email accounts. So I cannot start the video just yet, but hopefully that will be solved in a few days.

I forgot where it is, but there's something called aviscreen, which is free. Or it might have stoped being free, but i've got an old version if needed
I've actually had two replies from the domain name registrar in the same day ! Amazing. They told me to log into my control panel and change the admin address to one that works...
Do While (Registrar = Moron)

.. log in to a control panel, to change the email address..
but you need a password reminder for the control panel..
which, when requested, is sent to the email address..
that you want to change, because it doesn't work.. so you need to..

uh oh...

ps, any news on my decision?
Ouch! Bad luck Dustin!

We need a server-side app running, which captures a reset and sends the driver to spectate. I think Becky mentioned this to me long ago, and I forgot to look into it. I'll have a word with our s/ware guru Eddy tonight and see if he can knock something out for us.
I reset, I don't even recall doing that...
@Dustin, Sorry Dustin, nothing has pained me more in all the decisions i've made but this rule is there for a reason and it's pretty clear it was a reset - you had an excellent looking accident but when I show the footage I have to cut it short and it all looks poorly edited - thats why the rule exists, and i'm affraid there are no exceptions especially on a major breach like that one.

I suspect it was an automatic reaction without even thinking about it, but luckily your disconnection had already pretty much spoiled the race for you anyway, so better the bad luck is out of the way in one go.

@Jak - your appeal and indeed all the appeals is under consideration, you'll probably hear something by the weekend or start of next week.

Quote :We need a server-side app running, which captures a reset and sends the driver to spectate

I've looked into it Sam, it's impossible to detect a reset reliably. A shift-s can be detected but with the no chat rule that shows up pretty clearly to the clerk anyway.
right - ill stop spamming up the 360 thread and bring it here

Safety car is an RAC with 245 Hp - even if we put knobblies on it it will still be a handful, so you better not spin it becky!
The dirt track races are either going to have the slowest safety car in history or I might consider using a different car...
I've just been for a spin in the RAC on this track, and I'm as fast in the RAC as I am in the RB4! That's not actually saying much. The first corner complex is evil.. I can't make good turns around that part, in anything!
Use the RB4.

M. Hayward listed as an RB4 driver competed in XRT. Investigation pending, if upheld driver will be disqualified from the results. REPEALED
I can't remember the decision after Round1: Was the XRT backmarker or midfield?

Vain
Quote from Vain :I can't remember the decision after Round1: Was the XRT backmarker or midfield?

Vain

Depends on who drove it

More serious:
Dominant Class: FXO
Midfield Class: XRT
Backmarker Class: RB4

Is from the website.
The regulations where changed on that Traxxion . The classes are determined after round 1 by comparing the fastest lap from qualifying+race in each class.

I'm at work now so I dont have my notes with me but if my recollection is correct (and it may not be!) the XRT was the midfield class.
