To get pitspotter working first load LFS Companion and goto the relay section, open port 29999 as an insim relay. The load spotter, then load LFS, that should work.

I dont have a momo wheel so have no idea on that one. I was going to ask logitech for one (i'm a registered dev) but never got around to it when the STCC stuff started looming.
Quote from Becky Rose :Actually it occurs to me, what replay speed are you using? If it's high and you dont have much RAM it could be that the que of radio messages has got really long - perhaps if you turn the radio off it might work?

EDIT: Tested up to lap 108 in normal .exe mode and it was fine. Although the laps to go messages seemed to home in on lap 105 which was strange.

I was running the Replay 1:1 speed again and turned the radio off my
PC has 2GB RAM and the statistics stop again at lap 105 .

OK well my version here works so whatever bug it was is clearly gone or specific to your LFS install folder, i've uploaded the stats for you to look at, and there will be an update to LFSC soon where this should be fixed .
Great job Becky...i love it !
Any chance LFSlapper compatibility too one day ?
....after many attempts LFS lapper no works with companion.
But works well with pitspotters
(Lapper helping hosters against fools and cranks)
That's because it's just text. That "Launch LFS" just tells you to launch LFS yourself.

Vain
The "Launch LFS" button will eventually do something , it just doesn't yet...

On LFS Lapper compatability, I have sucessfully used LFSC on a lapper server (Redline) and that's ok, but if you are running lapper on the same computer as LFSC then it would need setting up via the relay options and may not be compatable (depending upon what insim data lapper requires).

Because lapper is a server side application and LFSC is a client side application this is not something i've looked at or was intending to look at.
I still haven't gotten it to work with pitspotter. I made the relay 29999 and get the "bind failed" message. Now I can't even get LFSC to work by itself.

I can't go without pitspotter, I've used it for far too long . I have only used LFSC (by itself) to where it worked once, and I had the volume too low to tell if I liked it or not, LOL.
i cant press launch lfs 0_o and its not working for me =( admin password did not match package received before ISI packet.
Getting that and when i do /insim 49998 bind failed

errm... learn to read - two posts above yours - this page
I know sorry but i was busy trying and didn't feel like reading but i understand. now read the errors i had cuz i don't understand really why it doesn't work. Even port forwarded to open 49999 and 49998 udp xD
you dont need to open any ports...
but it sais those errors and it doesn't work ingame
but you dont need to open any ports as all the communication is internal
Quote :admin password did not match

LFSC does not support insim connections with password protection at this time, although it is planned for inclusion when I introduce the live timing system. LFSC is designed as a client side application at this time, remove your admin password and it should work.

You dont need to open ports on your router, but if you have a software firewall it may be necessary, depending upon how your firewall is written.
yeah thanks man this thing owns

Please Becky any date to this ? its an urgent stuff to you dear
You know really many hosters let his own host without admin pass protections ?....me no. all server using admin pass i think.
We need use companion everywhere, actualy is not possible to use it on "lapper users" servers.
Passworded connections should be implemented before the end of the month.
:bunch of roses: for Becky
aye I took the preview picture off the website, along with a lot of stuff. I'm probably going to make a dedicated website for this soon.

I'm about to start work on LFSC again and I want to take on board any feature requests for the coming update.

Currently I will be adding live timing system for STCC, 360, and possibly a generic version. Maybe OWRL tracker, but that might come in a later update. A fix for the rogue characters in driver names, and possibly a suprise but that depends on time.
Hi Becky,

is the possibility to control LFSC via keyboard still somewhere on top of the todo list? This would be a major improvement.

Crowley
That is something i'd like to do pretty soon, so lets start thinking about what controls to have, any expansions on this (all on number pad)

- volume down
+ volume up
Enter position
* lock radio to this car
/ radio on/off
1 fuel reports on/off
2 lap reports on/off
3 split time reports on/off
4 position reports on/off
5 ahead behind gain reports on/off
6 pit stop reporting on/off
7 identify car on/off
