Yeah my voice sounds like a husky Julien Clarey with added butch-camp and a sprinkling of nerves. That's why I never saw myself in a commentary role and hope to avoid it in the future. I'd add this to my list of reasons to be self conscious when public speaking in the future, but it's already on there...

No offense but if you did not like the video do not post your views, Why don't you make a lfs video so we can have a go at you just for the sake of it and if you have drivin a round of the stcc you know how hard becky have worked her ass of to get where the stcc is now

Radio 4 version - Kindly consider the amount of effort involved in making such a production before you provoke a negative reaction with ill considered and destructive comments such as those you posted.

Only kidding . Guys it's ok, he is entitled to his opinion on the production and he's allowed to air that opinion in a public forum. It is perhaps a little antagonistic to be considered constructive criticism, but it is his feeling all the same. I do actually understand the points he is making, my voice does sound like Dame Edna and Tristan, like me, is a Fenlander with a Broads accent and to some in the outside world we sound like we're about to slash our wrists at any given moment, even when we're jumping for joy. That's what living on a flat marsh does to voice boxes.

Unfortunately for Mr Collet, coming from Warwichshire, he's genetically un-intelligeable to the outside world and therefore is not a suiteable replacement for Tristan . Thankfully our production will get better, and you never know in todays cosmopolitan world we may even get a hint of a BBC accent going (actually I sort of have a Souther accent already), but as the vast number of job seeking exciles coming from the Midlands to our hill-less shire shows, our forum antagonist here is stuck with his accent for life ...

One will try one's Radio 4 best for you Becky, I'm usually able to keep the broad Derbyshire inflection out of my speech when I'm concentrating on sounding like Mr Public School boy.

I don't have an accent. I speak the Queens English. In fact I find understanding English people with accents really hard. People to whom English is a foreign language I have no problem understanding :S

It used to say NEW but then it wasn't really new any more. New to anyone who hasn't seen it yet sure, but I seem to release quite a lot of stuff on the LFS forums so I figured it wasn't really new any more, it was just ALMOST NEW.

Don't worry Tristan, I was just making a loose point that English is a varied language with regional dialects so what he hears as un-emotive isn't necessarily un-emotive to the rest of us .

Antttt, I was joking before but I think you've gone far enough for the staff to consider your entry under regulation C5.1. OK so you are not bothered, you obviously hate the production although you are clearly in a minority there which means we didn't do bad for the first show.

Nobody minds you expressing an opinion and any driver is perfectly allowed to say they didn't like it and state why, but I think you have gone too far and too personal against staff of the STCC and the only responsible thing I can do is deny your entry in order not to create an ambience of hostility when you are racing.

As for famous people from my area, well we had a King, infact my last house was built on a corner of his old estate. That's not what the point was though and you clearly missed the point I was making, preffering instead to make another personal attack.

Just what are you hoping to get out of this thread? Except for enemies?

Its a game not F1!, Its fun not some institution!, Ok ban me for a race if you want to go that far but ban me all together because i crashed and serveral were not my fault! and Ban me all together to not even see me on a proper track is harsh and is no fun for gaming at all

Curious to see what all the fuss is about, and why you're refusing to drop this issue, I just viewed all the replays (since I wasn't able to attend this race, I was originally just planning on watching the final footage to get an outsider's perspective of the proceedings).

You call that rubbing body panels? I call it being borderline wrecking.

I call it nudging cars out the way then powering past with the throttle still full on.
I call it ploughing into the back of cars and knocking them off the track.
I call it kamikaze maneouvres down the inside of corners at speeds which could never be sustained were it not for using cars on the outside as a brake.
I call it sheer aggression with little evidence of any racecraft.
I call it incompetence when you fail to complete five laps in both the heat and sprint races without totalling your car.
I call it inconsiderate when you try to keep going in all three races with one or more corners of the car completely wrecked (i.e. all red in F10 suspension display) and reduce yourself to little more than a mobile chicane.
I call it amusing when your idea of "rubbing body panels" amounts to getting rammed by your team mate because you can't judge when to recover/rejoin from a spin.

The STCC stewarding works, from what I can see.

Oh, and anttttttttt69, in my past I tended to frequent parts of the internet where posts like yours would get chewed up and shat out on your own carpet. Unfortunately the rules and etiquette at this forum prevent me from partaking in such activities, so on behalf of all the drivers and staff in the STCC, I'd like to just say one thing: bite me.

i just wanted to say that i enjoyed the footage and i hope that the silly mean comments thrown at the stcc guys will not differ them from making the broadcasts in the future..

LOL, FXO ended up being 3 heats due to server problems. and in those heats i was running high until it did a mass kick and i was unfortunate to hit a side banking in heat 3 of fxo and flipped so then i came out of it and into pit area! This also happened in sprint race but i did not seem to have such a damaged car!

In the main race i as did alot others went for it at t1 and almost everyone hit someone else!!!

I managed to get past J.Pickard who constantly nudged me then i got a gap then nudge gap and so on until he past which i then past into t1 again of lap 6 and yes we made contact but he contacted me as much before but its called racing!

He then past me the next lap as i ran wide sadly

Then after that for many laps i was on my own!
It wasnt until lap 13 that P. Begeman court me up which then on lap 14 he hit me and wrecked some of my car!!!!!
Which then R. Sherborne nudged me and got past then i managed the next lap to re pass P. Begeman which then he went flying over the grass and pressed Shift+S!!!

I then was trying to let the leaders pass me as i was under Blue Flag when A. Hepp hit me and span me round! This then made me lag for some stupid reason so when i went out back onto track to re gain i came out infront of J. Green which i didnt know was there as i didnt see him!!! I hated that especially as he was my team mate, i was compeletly hurt by that as i didnt want to of hit him or anyone else like that and all you have done is critisice me for it when i didnt see him due to lagging!!!

Lap 19 R. Sherborne court me back up and we raced for half alap until he hit me aswel and put me into the side of the corner and up into the bank, which then i recovered quickly and didnt hit anyone that time!

I then the following lap safely let the leader past (lap 20)

I then on lap 24 safely let S. Hopkinson lap!
The next lap i ran wide into the verge which i allowed several drivers to pass before pulling out and then coming way off line to let another driver past!

Lap 28 i let the leader past safely again along with R. Sherborne a few moments later...

THEN A FEW MOMENTS LATER along the start/finish straight my damn stupid screen saver kicked in which made me loose all control! Totaly lost everything and the car was on full throtle going along the wall until i re gained control after i had hit the barrier after t1 shicane! That was not my fault and i didnt mean to reset the car but i was pressing space as that wa s the nearest key to get the laptop back from screen saver.

This then reset my car and i had no clue that i had turned over at the time, i then let aload of drivers past then to be told to get off for media reasons! WHICH i did!!!

This has alienated me resently from LFS as i have not raced since, i dont even get a second chance, i dont even get to re deem myself because of a few accidents but mainly alot of letting people past when i had a unresponsive car.

It was an accident prone track and others had crashes too, i have not looked into every driver but i have watched my in the main race many times and i dont see why its so bad! I have now writen all this out and it is alot but i have been saddened by this





Cant i even have a chance on a tarmaced surface of track?
I am awful on rally tracks, i can race them but i hate them with a passion!
