Downloaded nKP and LFS at lunchtime, and installed the G25. Oh what fun!! Had the office trying it out too, although the wooden floor and swivelley chair didn't help, until I wedged everything in place with peoples shoes.
As I don't know nKP very well, it was actually easier to set it up for the G25. Using the stick shifter in sequential mode, and 400 degrees (a guess), with about 125% FFB in both control panel and nK. Quite nice having to slip the clutch, and the serrated kerbs were very cool to feel.
LFS is harder, because I'm so used to the Momo feel and simple paddles. LFS's clutch simulation is crap (please give this bit a kick soon Scawen), but it was at least nice being able to set up the h-shifter and use it (decided to use auto-clutch because the manual clutch method isn't nice in LFS). Using the LX6, with 720 degree steering on full linearity, and 200% FFB in LFS (still 125% in CP) was entertaining, but I suddenly found everything harder to drive, and with less feel. I think this might be because I am so used to a particular wheel, so I reserve judgement on the FFB for now. nKP's FFB was quite good though.
Sorry for mini review, and sorry if it's in the wrong place Bob, but I know you love exercising your admin powers, so moving this will be good fun for you.
