I threatened. And now I've gone and done it. I'ce taken photos of my 1991 Toyota LandCruiser(an ex-fire truck), which is, for reference, 4.2 NA diesel, and it's a lot better than the silly V8 version. Hell if I'm paying that fuel bill. Honestly, who buys a 4x4 with a petrol engine?
In about 3-4 months I should be driving this little thing. Mine will be silver.
If everything is okay, I'll get another one. If my sis moves out, she will buy a new car, and my parents will buy this one from her. So I'll get it.
If she doesn't move out, I'll get my own car.
Capriceman and CrazyHarry:
It's kinda depressing looking at your cars, these big American/German jobs, and in every panel line I see the supposedly "Australian cars" that are somehow sold in swarms... Australian cars... American Design and ownership.
CrazyHarry's cars are the Holden Commodore and Holden Monaro respectivly, while CapriceMan's namesake is the Holden Caprice. It's an interesting illustration of how our local motor industry is a bit of a joke. It might be argued that the Toyota Camry(most of which are built here) is just as Australian as the Commodore and it's spinnoffs -_-
Bleh, I don't like American cars anyway.

Enjoy, im building a classic mini from a bare shell up! 10 Pages and 100's of pics of my progress so far, not old enough yet to drive but it'll be ready about the time im the legal age!
I build my Commodore C (in Australia Commo VB) after getting a australian car magazin called Commodore Crazy. There was a red one in it. I´ve never seen a tuned Commodore C before. Only old people drove this car. And there all gone because of the very big taxes you have to pay for that "big" engines. One thing is boring: You cant get a C (VB) with a V8 here. Biggest engine is a 2.5 Straightsix. But I use a 3.0 injection with 24Valve from a Opel Senator (Commo VS?) with 220 H.P. With a total weight of 1090 kgs (striped interieur, just 2 seats) its much fun to drift (its very easy, the car is -for european cars - very long and deep) and its nice for burnouts too.
