i want a huge crash at the start because of the wet conditions
I want 5 overtakes in lap 1, 4 in lap 2 and 3 per lap for the rest of the race. I also want the pits to be crouded (if that's how you write it). I want the rain to come down in the last 5 laps but a nice, sunny and warm track for the rest of the race. I want a driver to fall asleep during the wheel and to take out Massa :P.
Well...

I want the race to start dry, then get wet after 10 laps. I want Massa and Hamilton to spin together, so they'd have to battle their way through the field together while battling themselves. I want the track to be dry again half way to the end, so we can see people trying slicks on a not-so-dry track. I want the McLaren's Kimi back. I want Kubica and Vettel to have a battle. I want Alonso with a car capable of winning. And I want very light rain in the last 5 laps - so people have to choose if changing tyres is a good idea.

Quote :and Kimi will set the fastest lap in the final minutes of the race.

I've figured out why Kimi takes so long to get into his stride... It takes that long for the hangover to clear.
Quote from pasibrzuch :1. Raikkonen
2. Kubica +5,612s
3. Massa +6,128s
...
20. Hamilton +9999

nah...it's because he had finished his onboard whiskies and have to hurry back to pits for more.

I think Finns lean toward Vodka rather than Whiskey.

Hmmm... it probably explains why so many of their drivers go sideways...

Looks immersive.

Nice, me want...

It looks a very 'busy' circuit, and from that vid i couldn't see too many obvious overtaking spots. With diminished lighting, rain and a packed grid i reckon it's gonna be a long, tiring race, no doubt with a few safety car periods thrown in to, just for good measure.
that's a pretty cool sim.
The turn-in to T1 looks really quick. Should be interesting if they all get in there 2-3 wide.
The track is an absolute mess. It's not even finished yet, the kerb's are not even stuck to the floor and it doesn't drain water (although this might be interesting for the race), the turns are full of puddles, actually the turns are just puddles when it rains.

And I lol'd at how Alonso and Piquet have to learn the track. The team gives them a map of it with the gears used (estimated) on each turn and straight and some youtube links showing it.
I hope Vettel will win again, would be sooo nice to see him giving the big teams "the finger"

You said it in style like someone from French olympic representation would like.

I'm really interested if Vettel's win was only quick shot of talent, or new episode of his and Toro Rosso form.

I've strange feeling that accidents will include Top drivers, others will be fine IMHO.
End of season is coming, 4 man will fight for 1st place, Heidfeld with Alonso and Vettel will try to gain as much points, as possible. When this bunch of fast and motivated to drive at 101% racers will meet together at this new track, it will be good show. I hope.

Vettel was quick at Monaco and Valencia, so he should do well on this track too. Webber and Rosberg are interesting wildcards.

If it's wet it will probably be another safety car start, so probably no carnage.

Can't wait for a monsoon!

Every time it rains in Asia....it IS a monsoon!

There is no such thing as drizzle or light rain here. It is digital rain, off, or torrentially (new word ) on!
Quote from ajp71 :The only single seaters to run at night are oval series, very few F1 drivers have driven them. There's nothing else similar, it is not a night race, like a few F1 drivers may have experienced in guest drives at sports car races.

Not true sorry, champ car serie used to race at night in cleveland(not sure about the name, the airport one) Bourdais drove during night time there
Regarding my first post saying most drivers would have night racing experience, i was more talking about karting and lower class racing. At the same time, some may have none at all, and some may have top class night racing.

As far as I know, the major F3 and FRenault championships don't do night races.

Some FFord and karting championships might do night races, but experiences gained from those categories won't translate well into F1 (unless it's something like 250cc superkarts). The conditions are just too different.

As I said before, Bourdais is the most experienced night racer by far, with six Le Mans 24-hour races under his belt and probably a number of CCWS ones too.

12-hour weather "nowcast": http://app.nea.gov.sg/cms/htdocs/mss2.asp

Locals say it rained earlier this afternoon, but no more rain seems to be coming. Dry practice?
